That's why I mentioned our team being toothless upfront. I can't imagine there being a drastic improvement from any of our wingers in terms of numbers and we don't exactly have a goal getting from midfield aside from Mount. I agree with the fact that Haaland can only take some of the burden, but we can't (IMO) continue with just what we have in attack and expect a massive turnaround in numbers.

I know. We'd essentially be making RJ an RCB permanently and I'm not a real fan of that long term. Also, we have a a very promising RB called Livramento that will find game time hard to come by.

Talk of signing Hakimi screams "cherry on top". It would be throwing money at an area that we don't really need to invest in and not to mention, deadwood in such positions - Alonso, Emerson, Zappacosta.

That would still work in our favour. Dortmund are a selling club after all, so if teams pay up, Haaland & Sancho will leave. We've been known to do exactly the same. So many rumours going around about a clause and so, but if Dortmund say £125m+, we're out.

It's not exactly difficult to wrap up a target when a fee is there in writing. Haggling has been the issue for a host of targets in recent years and look what we've ended up with. Baka, Emerson and Zappacosta are supposedly going this Summer for 40m loss. One plus I read over the past few days is, those days are seemingly over. Tuchel wants his first choices or nothing.
