He's had a change of heart -

The current state of the team is due to the previous "management." Summer window aside, Boehly has been making the right moves for the most part. All of that would be undone if we signed CR7.

If that is the case, we are in big trouble.

If this happened during the summer, I would have been on board with us moving for him. It makes no sense now, & if we were to make a move, it would be a clear indication of who's making transfer decisions.

We don't need two potentially unreliable keepers on big wages.

I presume you mean next summer, as there's no chance Liverpool will go big for anyone until they're sold.

There's a number of reasons why letting Mendy leave would make sense. We can only hope Slonina can follow a simple path to Thibo and make the position his own a few years down the line.

He's thrived with every NT he's managed. It's just a shame his brief stint in France was poor, as he'd probably be managing a notable side in Europe by now. You and I both. He ticks so many boxes and would cost next to nothing in today's market.

Senegal would have gotten a point without him. His first season with us was nothing more than a purple patch.

He had an issue with their previous manager. The moment Halilhodzic was sacked, he returned to the NT.

I guess time will tell.

The WC couldn't have come at a better time. There's no fight at all in this team, and it's a result of losing characters in the dressing room & not replacing them.

He wasn't fit from 14/8 (Tottenham) till 1/10 (Palace), which was his first start? You might think one way, while the proof states otherwise.

He isn't. There have been a number of games this season where Cucu was preferred to him or a winger played as a FB under Tuchel & Potter.

Zakaria could easily do a better job than Jorgi and RLC. However, he's yet to play a PL game...

He's hardly played this season and is almost certain to leave in July. Kante is almost certain to leave, Rudi is long gone, and Fofana/Chiwell aren't nailed on starts. The issue is how much dross we have and continue to buy every window.

We're missing one key player - James. If we have to hang on against any decent side, we might as well call it a wrap now.

What is KK doing?

It's hard watching us try to play out from the back. We can't do that with Mendy as our GK.

I'm pleased to see those "untouchables" dropped. Great to see Hall rewarded with his PL debut after midweek's performance. I'm hoping it's only a matter of time till Zakaria takes his place.

We conceded two own goals for the first time in our previous away game, so it would be nice for someone to repay the favour.

It's inevitable. They've been in a similar position a number of times and blown it (only side to choke since the Keegan's meltdown).

I can't see where one goal will come from, let alone three.

Sterling couldn't even finish that. Our striking woes are something else.
