Drogba's passes were pretty woeful I have to say.. however I don't think he's the type of player who provides, I distinctly believe he's a player who expects to get service rather than the other way around! The good thing about Drogba, was when he got into the right spaces. His shooting and passing however has let him down!

This is exactly what we needed!! A confidence-boosting win against a side who had never lost at home all season... and a clean sheet at St. James' Park really does look hot under our collar... I've got a good feeling for the Valencia game now! I reckon we can whack 2 goals past them easy and get through to the knockout stages, and then we'll be uber fired up for the Man City game!

Romeu has been excellent! Can't fault his display... just excellent! Sturridge has been really good, but he needs to learn about playing more as a team player rather than just an individual! Lampard missed the earlier penalty, which was rather annoying, but really glad to be 1-0 up at half time... need to keep this up!!

I think it's because of the way the season has gone! The morale of the team has been very low in terms of big games, and AVB therefore, has had to play our best possible team in a majority of those games.. unfortunately, McEachran, as quick and talented as he may be, he's very far from being a big game player!

Fair point, I mean, Malouda was exceptional during that season, while Cole was there sitting on the bench every game, (although his goal against United at OT was some contribution at least) ... it's a shame though, I mean, I reckon we could have at least given Cole until the following January to show us what he could do, and then maybe decide whether to keep him or not... I think that's what I would have done!

If it weren't for Newcastle's current form, I say we could win this one, but I reckon it'll be a draw, only because Newcastle are at home! This will be a tough match, but I'm hyped up for it nonetheless!

Liverpool beating us at the Bridge twice in a matter of days... I don't know what to say, I mean, I really fucking don't! Losing to them at Anfield feels bad enough, but to lose to them at home twice is fucking embarrassing, and I don't even care if this is the mickey mouse cup! I'm getting sick and tired of a majority of our players not taking matches by the scruff of the neck and having the urge to win games! There was absolutely no drive in any of them (with the exception of Romeu, Lukaku and McEachran) ... Lampard is looking worse every game he plays. Liverpool just bullied him off the ball at every opportunity, and with someone like Lampard having that done to him is embarrassing! We need to take a long hard look at ourselves... we're not playing like a big side at all, this so-called "high-line" we're playing NEEDS to be scrapped now... before we plummet even more... we have been whipping boys for a majority this season, and I feel physically sick of it! I'm not a plastic supporter, and I never will be, but something like the above needs to be ranted, because every time we lose like this, I get more and more frustrated....
