  1. I remember you Kez welcome back
  2. I have mixed feelings over this I feel Avram Grant wasn't the right manager at the start, although he got us good results, he didn't win us anything. I guess that's why Chelsea decided the time was right to get rid of him. On the other hand I agree with G_Z. I don't like the idea of "a manager a season". Obviously everyone has a different approach and a different style of playing so what's the point in changing the manager when arguably, omitting the unsuccessful matches, gave us good results, with the possibility of giving us more. Which brings me to the yes's and no's to who I'd like to take over: Yes - Ancelotti - Not been a link to us recently, but I'd love someone like him to take over. Although him not taking AC Milan to the Champions League next season is a sour note. - Mourinho - I'm sorry, I don't care if it's never going to happen, I would welcome him back with open arms. Enough said - Hiddink - An attacking-mindful manager, works very well with a club's morale, but I reckon he's got too much of a crave for International for me to pick him as my favourite - Mancini - Could leave Inter at the end of the season on a high, has a good overall CV to his name. Also an attacking-mindful manager No - Rijkaard - Don't want him at Chelsea. He just doesn't have the right kind of style that we want. and doesn't have the right attitude. Has had a poor run with Barcelona lately. - Eriksson - Same as Rijkaard but with Man City. The problems that his club have had recently have frustrated him somewhat, and knowing this, I don't think he would have the right attitude either - ten Cate - There was talk before the final that he could be the manager after Avram Grant. I hope it doesn't happen. I don't think his name is big enough.
  3. This article is as true as one that says "John Terry will join Stoke City in the next 24 hours"
  4. I bet if Real Madrid were crafty enough, they will reject the offer and ask for Drogba along with cash.
  5. Chelsea won't want to loan Sidwell out! They will want to get rid of him. Besides, I don't think he's cut it here at all. He's more of a player that's good for a mid-table side to be fair. He would be the perfect replacement for Gareth Barry at Villa if he leaves for Liverpool On another note. I'd love to see Ribery sign for Chelsea. I would also want us to sign Kaka as well, but I doubt if both will join. Actually we have more of a chance signing Ribery than Kaka tbh. Ribery is the French answer to Joe Cole IMO.
  6. Maybe Guus Hiddink is a better replacement then. But I highly doubt he will leave the Russia job before Euro 2008 starts.
  7. With or without attacking football, he is a world class manager!
  8. Yeah agreed, you just gotta think of Makelele when he first came to Chelsea. He found it hard to adapt, but then the following season, he turned out to be the best defensive midfielder in the world under Jose Mourinho. Best left winger under Avram Grant?? I doubt it, but I bet he will be a sound player for next season.
  9. No way man! Not a possible relegation battling club, I'd prefer it if he signed for a club like Portsmouth to be honest. A manager like Harry Redknapp would be able to offer him the encouragement he needs. Not to mention the possible chance to play alongside Sol Campbell and David James who know the PL from the back of their hand. Their experience would help a player like Alcides.
  10. I suggest we tempt a world class manager to come in like "Marcelo Lippi"
  11. The only thing I'll say is... ...all that blood sweat and tears of watching Chelsea getting to the final, and now we have to go through it all again next season!! The Nearly Men, that's what we always are!! Spurs, Barnsley, and United twice
  12. I actually punched the wall so hard after Lampard's goal my hand is now currently red!! COME ON Chelsea!!!!! Last 45 minutes to take the game to United!! we NEED the belief to win this!
  13. Oh man!! 1 hour and 20 minutes to go!! I am nervous as HELL at the moment
  14. Believe me, I get freaked out by the weirdest things. assuming we can post up our phobias as well, I've got Mottephobia, which is a fear of moths
  15. Because all the newspaper writers are Man United supporters
  16. Michael Ballack is a better more experienced player than him anyway
  17. Piss off Vidic!!... ...and Shrek just think, no-one's a better submarine commando than Ronaldo
  18. We don't need another midfielder, so no, don't see this happening Let Arsenal have him
  19. Well, no that's not entirely true is it?? What if Essien said to Chelsea that he didn't want to sign the deal even though it was a huge pay rise? We'd all be sweating over his future. As long as he is happy at the club, it's up to Chelsea to find the right deal for him! Besides, Chelsea shoulden't get rid of Essien. He's far too much of an important player. Teams like Real Madrid are greedy fuckers anyway. They stole Arjen Robben, they're not taking away Michael Essien!!
  20. Yeah, get a gun and shoot the motherfucka' in the face!!!
  21. But why would Essien want to leave after winning the Champions League with Chelsea?? I don't get it Essien loves the club, that's why he decided to sign a five-year-contract last term.
  22. Seriously dude, are you kidding?? :ballack:
