Tottenham have won the race to sign Croatia midfielder Luka Modric for a fee believed to be £15.8m. The Carling Cup winners have agreed terms with the in-demand 22-year-old, fending off interest from Premier League rivals Newcastle. The play-maker will leave Dinamo Zagreb for White Hart Lane this summer subject to passing a medical. Modric must also obtain a work permit but that should be a formality as he is a regular in the Croatia national team. ------------------------------------------------------ http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...pur/7368463.stm ------------------------------------------------------ What a waste of a player, going to a shit club like Sp*rs. Unbelieveable

FUCKING YES!!!! John Arne Riise is my favourite Liverpool player
-
FUCKING LIVERPOOL!!! AGAIN!!!!
-
Here are my outs ------------------------------------------- 1) Steve Sidwell - sell him, straight up! He's bloody shit 2) Tal-Ben Haim - said he wouldn't have joined if Jose Mourinho wasn't manager, so he can fuck off. We don't need him anyway, he's shit 3) Florent Malouda - what a disappointing player. I really hoped he'd be something good for us, obviously he hasn't so get rid of this frog! 4) Claudio Pizarro - cannot shoot down a barn door with a machine gun!! 5) Didier Drogba?? - I got question marks on Drogba because I want him to stay so badly, but he wants to leave so badlu so he's in the list. 6) Andriy Shevchenko - another disappointment. Will probably go back to Milan 7) Paulo Ferreira - Belletti has crowded him out in performances this season, plus a fact I don't think he's been any good this season to be honest 8) Carlo Cudicini - awesome keeper, but I'm beginning to think he's getting to a peak and he is probably getting frustrated about not playing enough games because of Petr Cech. 9) Claude Makelele - has he played his last season for Chelsea??? 10) Avram Grant - big fat old loser who cannot motivate a team to save his life Now, here are my Ins ------------------------------------------- 1) Dani Alves - We didn't sign him last year, and Sevilla aren't doing so well in La Liga this season, so surely he has to be tempted to join a bigger club in the summer (replacing Paulo Ferreira) 2) Klass-Jan Huntelaar - Young, well-known promising striker who is a predicament for scoring brilliant goals (replacing Claudio Pizarro/Didier Drogba/Andriy Shevchenko) 3) Kaka - Impossible player to try and sign, but you never know. Not in his prime at Milan very much at the moment, and with Ronaldinho linked to the San Siro, it's anyone's guess (replacing Steve Sidwell) 4) Volkan Demirel - not a player Chelsea are interested in, and not much of a rival to Petr Cech in terms of appearances, but he was very impressive against us for Fenerbahce (replacing Carlo Cudicini) 5) David Villa - if we can tempt him away from Arsenal, then we could have a prolific net-hitter, but prizing him away from a club like Valencia will be a massive ask (replacing Claudio Pizarro/Didier Drogba/Andriy Shevchenko) 6) Franck Ribery - an awesome midfielder who has scored a lot of goals for Bayern Munich this season. I don't think we'd be able to prize a good starter at a club like Bayern Munich very easy however (replacing Florent Malouda) 7) Marcelo Lippi - I'm talking fantasy here, but I'd say he'd be a good Chelsea manager....right? (replacing Avram Grant) With all of my ins included, this is what my team would look like... -----------------------------1. Cech--------------------------------- ----16. Alves------26. Terry------6. Carvalho-----3. A Cole----- -----------------------------5. Essien-------------------------------- --------11. Ribery---------8. Lampard----------10. J Cole-------- -----------------------------22. Kaka-------------------------------- ---------------------------7. David Villa----------------------------- Subs: 20. Volkan Demirel (GK) 35. Juliano Belletti 33. Alex 13. Michael Ballack 9. Klass-Jan Huntelaar Manager: Marcelo Lippi

The way I see this, we might as well lose and hand United the league I just don't want them to win the league at our own back yard! Particularly when we have this long unbeaten league streak. All their fans will be like "we won the league at Stamford Bridge, we ended their long unbeaten run, and all their fans are shit at supporting their club" yeah that would go down well
-
Bruce Buck is a fucking donkey if he decides Avram Grant is managing Chelsea next season!! I want that fat Pompey reject out of here!
-
FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK FUUUUUUCK!!!!!! *puts trophy on a plate* there you go Ferguson, go and piss in it and drink from it!!
-
Half time 0-0 What a load of rubbish! We might as well just hand it over to United Also, Malouda is a fucking donkey, get him off and get Joe Cole on!

Barcelona's Ronaldinho has reportedly agreed initial terms with Italian giants AC Milan, according to his brother and agent Roberto de Assis. The Brazilian, 28, is set to miss the rest of the season with injury but is said to be disillusioned with life at the Nou Camp and keen for a move. De Assis insisted it was not yet a done deal but said: "Basically, Ronaldinho and Milan have come to an agreement. "He was impressed with first contact with them, they are a great team." Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani said: "There is a general agreement with the player. Now a deal has to be reached with Barcelona. Give us time." The forward has also been linked with a move to Manchester City after De Assis was a guest at the home game against Chelsea. ------------------------------------------------ http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/7344207.stm ------------------------------------------------ Well, it was on the cards really. If AC Milan came calling then Manchester City don't really stand much of a chance. He's off to Milan guys.
-
Moral of my findings is.... don't go 1-0 up away from home through an own goal lol
-
Hang on a minute guys.... Barcelona 2-1 Chelsea (2004-2005) -- Chelsea went 1-0 up through a Belletti own goal Fenerbahce 2-1 Chelsea (tonight) -- Chelsea went 1-0 up through a Deivid own goal ------------- does lightning strike twice??
-
Won't happen this year lads and I don't think we're gunna be able to chase Man United in the league as they are virtually unstoppable again this season. so no trophies!!
-
What a load of bollocks!! Avram clearly doesn't have a rat's arse clue!
-
haha you couldn't get more bullshit than that really; that's definately the kind of report the Daily Mail would write up. "£100 million for Kenwyne Jones" --> that made me split my sides!
-
Two criticisms... 1) We don't even know the player 2) We don't need another defender I'd be thinking along the lines of getting rid of Ben Haim more than anything else. Why bring in a defender whom we don't even know and don't even need! I think apparently he's liked with Sp*rs as well. I say let him go there
-
Capello makes his first big mistake as England manager!
-
I assume he's had to train hard to get a place because he wasn't 100% fit when he joined us.
-
Pizarro has been a real disappointment this season. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually went somewhere permanently to be honest. Get rid of him and Sheva and bring in Huntelaar. That means we would have Drogba (providing he stays), Huntelaar and Anelka as strikers, and that would seem like a good balance.
-
People are probably wondering where's CJ gone?? Or how comes CJ isn't posting much these days?? He's still around Only real concern for me at the moment is work committments at uni and the stuff i'm having to do has been really pissing me off these last few weeks, just trying to get through it all, as you would normally do. So don't be alarmed by the whereabouts of CJ, he still lurks the forums! Up the Blue Boys!!

AND IT'S ALL GONE QUIET IN MY HOUSE!!! AND IT'S ALL GONE QUIET IN MY HOUSE!!! AND IT'S ALL GONE QUIET ALL GONE QUIET ALL GONE QUIET IN MY HOUSE!!! CAREFREE!!!!! Fuck you Arsenal!!! Fuck you G*llas, how does it feel to come back to the Bridge and lose!!! You French backstabbing cunt!! DROGBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! :D :D
-
I don't like this game!! I never like this game... ...because it's always me against my family. Hurrrgh!!! You'd trust Arsenal to be the team that breaks the winning league streak at the Bridge wouldn't you??
-
Why is it, whenever we have advantage over rival teams we fuck up!! But whenever rival teams have advantage over us they take it?? Avram's just a dickwod, just get rid of him, I'm sick of this now!! I bet Arsenal are gna take away our long unbeaten SB record on Sunday, I can SOOO see it happening!!
