  1. No way!! I rather Riccy stay with us, I want him to stay now that Scolari is Chelsea manager!!
  2. I agree, but IMO I would prefer him on the left hand side of midfield than Malouda
  3. Sacked Chelsea manager Avram Grant has been offered a way back into the game as coach of the Georgia national team. The 53-year-old has been without employment since the Champions League finalists opted to terminate his contract at the end of May, paving the way for Luiz Felipe Scolari to later take over at Stamford Bridge. And Georgian FA president Nodar Akhalkatsi has revealed the Israeli is his first choice to take charge of the eastern European minnows. "I have spoken with him and offered him the job," Akhalkatsi said of Grant, who previously enjoyed success in the international arena as manager of his homeland. "We have monitored his work with the Israel national team and Chelsea and feel he is a good coach. We will speak again soon." ----------------------------------------- http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/...ual_074911.html ----------------------------------------- Would like it if he went back to management. Internationally however would be some challenge for him, but maybe his time at Israel could give him some experience
  4. Mate, there's no more loyalty in the world of football anymore, money literally overtakes the whole of their lives and that's why sometimes, clubs can't hold on to their best players. Players just want money all the time, and to me, it just ruins the beauty of the game.
  5. I can't believe Lampard's going because of our failed attempts to offer him a contract, completely pathetic, we have all this money and we can't even meet his demands!! Fuck you Kenyon!!
  6. Mate, Arshavin is a starting XI player, he is no bench player!
  7. The Mirror said yesterday... New Bayern Munich manager, Jurgen Klinsmann has already written up a set of transfer targets for the summer and Chelsea defender, Khalid Boulahrouz is their first prime target. Boulahrouz, who was one of Holland's shining players during Euro 2008 was loaned out to Sevilla by the London club last season but failed to hold a first team place at the club.
  8. Roman Pavluchenko. I think he is a very VERY tasty player. get rid of "piece of piss-aro" and bring him in!
  9. Not linked with Chelsea but I would like to see this guy wearing a Chelsea shirt. He's scored some fantastic goals for a very impressive Russia side at Euro 2008. Sell off Pizarro and bring in this guy. A good £15m or up deal to Spartak Moscow, and a 4-year-contract subject to a work permit will do the trick. Our new number 9 before the new season starts. Any thoughts?? Bearing in mind also, Abramovich would welcome players from his native county with open arms so it could be a way in if we do decide make an approach. To summerise.... Pavluchenko is an awesome player and I'd love him at Stamford Bridge!! PS: Villa wants to stay at Valencia!
  10. Good player, but I would prefer it if we tried to sign Ribery tbh
  11. Welcome to Talk Chelsea dude, nice English
  12. how about.... Scolari woooaaah Scolari woooaaah He was, born in, Brazil He hates the Arsenal
  13. Check out this list of defenders who are officially Chelsea players John Terry Ricardo Carvalho Alex Khalid Boulahrouz Branislav Ivanovic Tal Ben Haim* Paulo Ferreira Jose Bosingwa Alcides Wayne Bridge Ashley Cole Juliano Belletti* (Players with stars next to their names means that I expect them to be sold on) (Players in bold means that I want them to stay) These players are all first choice players, how on earth is Scolari going to keep these players happy, can we have a debate here as to how Scolari is going to sort out this shinanigan?
  14. Deco 'to join Scolari's Chelsea' Barcelona midfielder Deco will join his Portugal boss Luiz Felipe Scolari at Chelsea, BBC Sport understands. Reports in Portugal that Deco had met with Blues owner Roman Abramovich on Thursday were denied by the player in Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo. But Mike Sewell, BBC Five Live's man with the Portugal squad, said sources were tipping him to move to Chelsea. "They believe Deco will go with Scolari rather than join up with old boss Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan," he said. Barca confirmed recently that Deco was free to talk to other teams. Scolari takes over at Stamford Bridge on 1 July after overseeing Portugal's Euro 2008 campaign. The Brazil-born star joined Barcelona from Porto in 2004 after helping the Portuguese side win the Uefa Cup, Champions League and domestic league titles under Mourinho. He won two league championships with the Catalan giants, and was part of the team that beat Arsenal in the Champions League final in Paris in 2006. However, a series of injuries have hampered his season, and he made just 14 starts in Barcelona's La Liga campaign. Sewell added that Deco had left the Portugal camp on Thursday after being granted 24 hours' leave by Scolari. "He flew to Barcelona to sort out a personal matter, believed to be the finalising of his divorce," he said. ------------------------- http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...sea/7453834.stm ------------------------- Oh dear!! Does this spell the begnning of the end for Frank Lampard??
  15. oh yeah of course he did!!! sorry my bad, i just looked at "moutinho", and at first glance I thought it said "mourinho" lmao
  16. err mate, you do know Mourinho has signed for Inter Milan right??
  17. I'm Following Sweden and Holland Sweden because I'm going there next week Holland because the're just an awesome group of players
  18. I'd rather buy more players with £55m than blow it all on one player, if they're asking for too much, I'd tell them to fuck off
  19. Is there a participation fee at all? i.e. do we have to pay to take part??
  20. This is actually pretty interesting oh well if I ever decide to have a go at this, I'm any team's centre half. I've made that position my own in all the recent times I've played football with mates I'm actually a hard tackler at the back
  21. I'd love to know how he'll be able to be chosen over Terry, Carvalho, Alex and Ivanovic. Just won't happen I reckon he will be sold
  22. JT will always have blue blood inside of him, he is a LEGEND!!
  23. I agree with warnie, I don't think his name in management is big enough to be honest. He wouldn't be my first choice at all
