People like Di Santo are unproven at the club because they haven't been playing enough games. I would seriously let Di Santo go out on loan, solely to gain Premier League experience. To answer the question "do we need a marquee signing"... Yes! Aguero, Tevez, Ribery or Pato would be the ideal signing in this category. Drogba is a goalgetter for us, but he's no Thierry Henry or Fernando Torres IMO. We need a striker who is young and can score a lot of goals, and a lot of vital winners as well, when we really need it. Although Tevez might be the only player we won't get because Man City already have one hand on him at the moment.

He's actually both, but his better position is DM I think, that's why I say we don't really need him, but I could be wrong

I would seriously consider letting him go. He's 31, very injury prone, and would be better suited somewhere else in my opinion, and on that note, I wouldn't mind him leaving us.

De Rossi is a great player but he isn't someone we need. We have Michael Essien who plays well in his type of position, and Mikel is perfect backup, so we don't need him!

I want to make a thread on this because I want to know what people think. I've seen regular people cycling on pavements which makes me ponder if I'm allowed to do it because I want travel everywhere by cycling. It would at least save me a bus trip at least. Has anyone seen others cycle on pavements, and do you think it's legal?? I know my younger cousin used to do it.
