My dad and I were discussing the FA's current rule of players being "cup-tied" when we sign them, and that we can's use them because they already played in one round of the cup. What's the fucking point of this rule. I mean, does anyone actually matter they played that one game, and it makes them unavailable?? The same goes for UEFA as well with the Champions League. David Luiz can't play for us because he already played for Benfica in the group stages! Why does this rule have to exist??? It's probably just a prevention of seeing the best players performing for new clubs, or it's probably just a rule where teams can't strengthen while the competition is happening. But in my eyes, it's just a stupid rule!!
