  1. Jeffrey Bruma had a twitter I think, I'm not sure if he has it anymore!
  2. Torres should definitely start this game. It would at least give him a chance to play in the Champions League and ... hopefully ... score a couple of goals.
  3. Fucking hell!! What a rip off!! Imagine if your team played badly in that final. That would be a waste of money!! You'd expect to get some of it back (wishful thinking)
  4. Tim Cahill 90-minute bicycle kick if I remember rightly?? No forget that I remember what you mean now, it was the final game of the season right?? And the game finished 1-1 I'm thinking of the year after when Avram Grant was manager!
  5. Ray Wilkins was a huge impact at Chelsea. He gave that motive to the players in the dressing room to keep going in tough situations, and they would always respond by giving 110% on the pitch and winning, and of course, he is someone that Ancelotti could talk to on the touchline. Now he's not there, Carlo doesn't talk to anyone.
  6. Too right man! I was speachless when that happened! It just shows you how old Cole is getting these days! He's not as quick as he used to be nowadays.
  7. I hate to compare with another team I have a soft spot for, but Chelsea are a spitting image of AIK Solna. When AIK won the Allsvenskan in 2009, a lot of their good players including Jos Hooiveld and Ivan Obolo left the club, suddenly in the 2010 season they were relying on Bangura to get their goals, and they were trying to fight off relegation. I know that's not where Chelsea are, but the point I'm making is. Chelsea lost a hell of a lot of players last summer and never replaced them. The players we have left, are beginning to see better days and we are beginning to see the after effects. Losing a host of game and in the process, losing valueable points. I've also noticed with every game that the support at Stamford Bridge is ridiculously quiet. We get out-sung almost every game by the opposing fans, and... if you compare that with the likes of Liverpool fans at Anfield, and Man United fans at Old Trafford, there is huge passion in those clubs! Compared to us, Stamford Bridge is beginning to turn into a Library. The main key to success here, is that we need to freshen up the squad next summer. Clear out those who have threatened to leave in the past (points go to Yuri Zhirkov) and get rid of those who are getting into their 30s. Players like Malouda, Drogba and Anelka. Give Josh McEachran more chances in the squad and try building a team around him so that we can get the best out of him in the future.
  8. Or Seamus Coleman! He run us ragged in both of our FA Cup ties with Everton!
  9. Ohhh I noticed that! It was on TV the other day! Gosh!! No wonder he can still play like he's 10 years younger!
  10. Chelsea sporting director Frank Arnesen has signed a three-year contract to take up a similar position at Bundeliga side Hamburg in the summer. The 54-year-old Dane, who previously held a comparable role at Tottenham, announced last November that he would leave Chelsea at the end of the season. "I am convinced that with the strength we have and the right decisions we can develop something big," said Arsensen. Chelsea's chief scout Lee Congerton will also make the move to Germany. ------------------------ Source: BBC Football and various other sources ------------------------ Well we ll knew this was imminent but I suspect Hamburg isn't a bad team to sign for.
  11. We all knew Luiz was ineligable dude, and I think Ferreira can do a great job at right back! I felt he did rather well against Everton today so who knows!?
  12. I actually think this is a great thing to know about this because at least Roman still has faith in Carlo and that he wants him to carry on until the end of the season at least. On the other hand, I'm struggling to think who would actually replace Carlo if he did have to leave! Everyone would say they would love to see Mourinho back, but much as he dreams about a return to the Premier League, I don't see it happening to be honest.
  13. No way do I expect us to win this! If we do win this, then that's a huge stepping stone in terms of fortune and momentum as far as I'm concerned.
  14. That's a fair shout! I guess it all depends whether the tide is turned for us by the end of the season. Ancelotti would have helped us get fourth or even 3rd place in the league, but I suppose it doesn't really say much for his future. Just look at Ranieri!
  15. Roman Abramovich will carry on spending as Chelsea rebuild their ageing squad this summer. After funding the £74million January recruitment drive for Fernando Torres and David Luiz, the Russian billionaire accepts his Blue revolution is not yet complete. Abramovich has no intention of parting company with manager Carlo Ancelotti. In fact he intends to renegotiate a new contract with the Italian who will only have a year left on his present deal come the summer. ------------------------------------ Source: Mirror Football ------------------------------------ Well it's good that Roman has faith in Carlo!!
  16. I don't want Arsenal to win anything this season, though they might win the Carling Cup against Birmingham... ... so I'll have to put up with United winning it again I suppose!
  17. What on earth made West Ham to think about going for Grant rather than O'Neill anyway Maybe O'Neill didn't want the job!
  18. Whenever I see anything on the BBC website I always believe it! Never anywhere else!
  19. I really can't wait for this game! It's the team I follow against my favourite Danish club! I hope we win of course!
  20. Last time I heard his name, he was in the running for the West Ham job!
  21. Hopefully Sturridge is going down the road Jack Wilshere went when he was at Bolton!
  22. No I never said that at all! I'm entitled to my own opinion as to who is a good goalkeeper and who isn't. I would still back them to do well though!
