Well this would certainly be the right public stance for the manager to take.

As long as the sporting directors have read your post here about not allowing Penders to experience a long-term loan at a desirable destination where there is a high risk of him putting down roots.

They do seem to take longer these days don't they. There's the arrival video, the photo shoot video, the interview, the sponsors' placements and real life events (like a pre-booked holiday perhaps) sometimes having to be squeezed in as well.

CoPilot's assessment of SJ's post: "Mike Maignan is a French professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for AC Milan and the France national team. He is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, known for his reflexes, distribution, and leadership qualities. From the surrounding page content, it appears that Chelsea has approached AC Milan regarding a potential transfer for Maignan. This suggests that Chelsea is actively looking to strengthen their squad with a high-profile goalkeeper. Given Maignan's reputation and performances, he would be a significant addition to any team aiming for top-level competition."

Just received a BBC notification that we are sending Sancho back to ManU and paying what the report describes as a penalty. I heard one journo describe the payment as just the agreed loan fee, and not an additional penalty clause at all. I confess that I had wondered if we might try to turn a profit on Sancho by doing a back-to-back buy from United and sell to X deal. In reality that was daft of me because United and club X would make sure that couldn't happen. Since the original report claims that we've passed on Sancho because we failed to agree terms with him, I have to say that I don't really blame him for holding out. Although he's relatively young he has to face the reality that, outside of moving to Saudi, he will never get another contract to match his current deal with United. That being so, it makes sense not to give up that contract without a payoff or matching terms from his new employer.

Or non-performances. I don't think he actually played a Premier League game. Or should I say, Google doesn't think so. 🙂

One more pot to play for. Chances of winning it not great of course but there's good money on offer and our uefa PSR account needs all the help it can get. -

That's two things. 🙂 -
There's a huge incentive for them to decide by June 10th. If they can bring someone in by then who is able to help us progress a round or two further in the Club World Cup than we otherwise would the added income will be like a discount on that player's purchase price/wages.

Collectively we pay for it all in the end. Tickets, TV rights fees, sponsorship deals, kit deals, advertising. we are the ultimate source of all that money.
-
Hope you are right.

Yes, I'd be onboard with an attempt to sign Gyokeres but would he be more interested in Arsenal, for example?
-
Lavis not starting surprises me.
-
Wirtz reminds me of Eden Hazard. He looks like a gamechanger that clubs automatically sign if they have the chance to.

Whoever is going to stuff Spurs in the Super Cup are my choice for the Champions League final.

?????????????????? Nevermind do I hate Manu, I'm now convinced that they hate me. They will now be punished and deservedly so. Imagine not being good enough for the Conference League. Of course the Lilywhites will now put up a statue of Ange. Fair enough, he's clearly one of their greatest managers ever. Damn, damn, damn.

Right decision for player and Club.

We started the final really poorly. It was one of those performances where you're still fuming about how sloppy our play is, when it dawns on you that actually we've been in control for a good few minutes. We suffered a shaky first 10 to 15 minutes but after that became more and more dominant for the rest of the match. A fully deserved win which could easily have seen a wider margin of victory despite not really carving out all that many clear cut chances. Erin Cuthbert was a fully deserved player of the match.

Good point about Jackson.
