  1. Perhaps because he likes to run his mouth and it's clear from past interviews that Mourinho is not liking that. I also hope it doesn't happen, but it wouldn't surprise me tbh. Nor would it surprise me if it was Mata in exchange for Diego Costa.
  2. Lukaku played a few games for Chelsea and didn't do well. The penalty he missed against Bayern crushed his morale and he asked the manager to be loaned again because he didn't feel ready for the job. The manager looked at the squad and saw Torres, Ba and Etoo coming in. I'm sure you Einsteins all foresaw Ba and Etoo would be a flop and knew it would be a mistake to loan Lukaku, right? Had we not loaned Lukaku and Ba/Etoo actually delivered as they were supposed to, this season we would have an unhappy kid on the bench angry because he neither gets playing time, nor was he given the loan he asked for. Yes, it was a mistake to loan Lukaku. But at the time it actually seemed quite reasonable.
  3. Chelsea will likely be getting rid of KDB, Ba, Eto and Torres. Add to that the likelihood of Mata and David Luiz being sold too. Mourinho can get the squad he wants and not only will Abramovich not have to spend a single penny, perhaps he'll even be making a profit. Building =/= Rebuilding. Joke's on you troll.
  4. Perhaps you didn't read my post correctly, or maybe you're just a little slow intellectually. I've never said all managers are allowed to choose where the money is spent. I said the successful ones are. The manager is responsible for how the team plays, and as such, only HE knows what players will fit HIS tactics. If you hired an artist to make you a painting and demanded that he worked with materials that he didn't want nor asked for, in the end you couldn't complain if the artwork didn't look good. It's that simple. But you seem to be too stupid to understand such a basic concept. Here's an example of your club management philosophy at work: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12088/9080335/tottenham-a-shambles-and-directors-of-football-dont-work-says-jeff-stelling
  5. If the owner is the one who decides which players to buy, then why does he need a manager in the first place? Your philosophy is ridiculous in my opinion. Managers are to be given a budget, and with that budget they are to hire the players THEY think fit THEIR tactics and style, so they can do THEIR job. If you hire a manager and expect him to do miracles with a squad he doesn't know how to work with, then you'll be seeing plenty of bad results. If you look at the most successful managers in the history of football, you'll come to the conclusion all of them were/are the type of managers with strong personality who don't let anyone pick their squad for them. Naturally, the manager shouldn't be the one choosing how much money is spent. But he ALONE should be the one deciding who gets to join the team with the budget that he's given.
  6. Oh now that's a very smart argument right there. If the strikers were to get more chances, they certainly would be scoring more. Considering Torres scores 1 goal out of 100 chances he has, mathematically he would be scoring multiple goals if he was to be given thousands of chances per game, thus becoming the best striker in Europe. So clearly, THE MANAGER is to blame for not providing him that. Right? /irony How many managers did this club have in the past 3 years? Did all of them have the wrong tactics? How many of those managers had issues with their strikers not scoring BEFORE they came to Chelsea? So how is the manager to blame? A team isn't built around one player. It's the player that needs to fit the team. So don't tell me the team needs to pass more balls to the striker so he can score, NO, it's THE TEAM, in its entirety, that needs to be trying to score and the striker needs to do his fucking job, which is to take the many OR few opportunities that he's given. Clearly, our strikers don't do that.
  7. Despite our recent performances against small teams, I know for a fact we will rape Arsenal in this game. I'm sure of it.
  8. Schurrle and Willian were both signed by Mourinho and they have both been arguably our 2 best players this season with the exception of Ramires maybe. So I would say he is already doing that. Personally, I still think his second term here will be a success. Today for example, people are complaining about us losing to one of the worst sides in the league but the truth is we dominated 85% of the game and actually played good looking football. So clearly, there are a few KEY aspects that need to be fixed, but once that's done I think we'll be looking good. Remember the most defining aspect of a Mourinho team is its strong defense. And yet Chelsea has one of the worst defenses in the PL. Just from that, you know this is still not a Mourinho team.
  9. Chelsea NEEDED to lose this. And it needs to lose the game against Arsenal too. Nothing relevant will be done with this squad without a good scare... We CAN'T remain tolerant about winning games we don't deserve to win, we CAN'T remain tolerant about these fucking useless strikers. Torres, Ba and Etoo all need to go. KDB too.
  10. Getting dominated? Did you even watch this game?
  11. Lampard will need 1 month rest to fully recover from this 120 minute game lol
  12. Willian MOTM. So glad we didn't let the shits from Spurs get this guy.
  13. If KDB steps up now, it will count 10x more.
  14. I bet now you're glad we put on Hazard lol.
  15. Common, you guys know Chelsea wouldn't be Chelsea if this didn't happen
  16. We are playing well. The only thing missing is the goals lol.
  17. Schurrle is doing very well. Minute 78 and still actively looking for it.
  18. Kevin doesn't have to put up a brilliant performance in the few opportunities that he's given, but he needs to show SOMETHING. A little spark of brilliance perhaps, like one great individual play, or a shot that hits the bar, something that could show the manager he can do better.. He hasn't even given us that so far. He looks depressed, he looks like he's not even trying. Even if he's not doing well, he should at least show that motivation when he's pressing or help the team defend, or chase the goal keeper when the other team sends the ball back, etc. Those are the little things that show managers a player deserves more chances. I've seen none of it from KDB so far... There's only so much that you can do for a player that has come down to that.
  19. I wouldn't call that a torres. I think he was just unlucky there.
  20. A true world class player would get in there with the aggressiveness of a hungry lion and show the manager what he's made of. Chelsea is a world class club and as such needs players with a world class spirit. KDB needs to go.
  21. Out of the strikers you mentioned: Suarez - ZERO chance he would leave Liverpool for us. Diego Costa - Possible. But not before summer. Rooney - According to the media, he does seem to want out. According to commonsense, he HAS to want out of that sinking boat. That said, I don't believe he would leave United for Chelsea. The United fans would hate him forever and he doesn't strike me as a player who would want to go through that. When he leaves, he will go to PSG. I'm sure of it. Falcao - Would come overpriced. Cavani - Would come overpriced. -------- Personally, I think Diego Costa is the only realistic option we have. Diego Costa, Lukaku and Torres, and the striker debate will be over in Chelsea.
  22. Schurrle should only come on if we're not doing well. He needs to be rested for the game against Arsenal.
  23. And if Mourinho had spend 100 million in the summer, you would be whining that it's a shame we have to buy our way up. Go home troll.
