Selling Luiz for 50m and then replacing him with Zouma. You got to give credit for Jose, it was simply brilliant.
-
Lol, what's with all the worried here. His comments simply make sense with the exact condition at the moment, and with the fact that no superstar player declared they want to leave. If someone like Fabregas last season, surprisingly become available, we will in for sure. Last season, if Fabregas staying at Barca, I suspect Jose will not bother it, as he will signed another CM as a target.

Hope Boro could win today
-
Indeed, but I couldn't blame them though, if you have a club who pay 30m for Luke Shaw interested in your best player who happened to be English, I would ask the same.
-
Reported MU will try to sign him this summer, around 45m. I think this one could be happening tbh. It's a shame, this is the kind of deal we couldn't do anything about.
-
Ah, yes. It's depend on what you think though. I think it's still reasonable number for a player who has score 22 in 34 games in La Liga, despite most not playing as a lead striker. Also he is still 24. We could easily get our money back or even higher, considering what we did with Mata, Luiz, Schurrle, etc. Actually we have a bit part of making price inflated several years ago. But recently, thanks to Man City, the price even more crazier nowadays.
-
It's his release clause number, not that means he is worth that much of course. Basically the minimum price anyone could get him without have to bother about his club. You could always think he is only worth 25m for example, but Atletico will have every rights to reject it. Pay it or leave it price, nothing wrong with it imo.

What a bad move, Lampsy. What a bad move.

Let me take this moment to cry He is for sure will leave this summer. It will be very hard to see his thread in Ex-blues section. Top lad. Legend. Sunderland game will be our last chance to see him. Don't think I could hold not to cry seeing him waving goodbye by that time
-
Poor Cuadrado. Hope he could have much better performance next season.
-
Agree if Godin available though. If not, Howedes will be an alternative and also 'cheaper' option. Howedes is not that 'bad', despite playing in shit team like Schalke. He was also one of three German players who played every minute of all seven World Cup games, alongside Neuer and Lahm.

That sounds familiar case to me. It's back to the player himself to choose, whether he want to stay at 'smaller' club to be a starter or ready for a challenge at 'bigger' club. Willian for example, as the one who take that challenge and could 'survive' in here. Yes there are others who have 'failed' like Salah for example, or the player who choose to stay at his club and afraid to take that challenge, in other words 'playing safe'. If Griezmann believe in his own ability he could be better than Willian or Oscar or Remy (why I picked three names because he is versatile player therefore his chance to get minutes will be bigger), he might would want to join us for a chance of 'better' life. Top flight football at elite club, play with among the best players in the world, more competitive league, better chance of silverware, Jose Mourinho, more money, guaranteed called up for France, etc, would be the prizes if he could 'survive' here. It's all worth it imo.

It's quite funny to see all this kind of reaction, while 10 years ago we will be excited like a little girl got a new doll. How the time has changed.

The first class train will not passing by your station twice. Better go in when you have a chance.

Welcome to Marseille :blue scalf:

Here we go
-
Griezmann money would be enough, no? Also Griezmann himself rumoured interested for the move.
-
Assuming that quote is true, no chance he will be leaving this summer, with Atletico and Simeone also wouldn't want to sell either. Koke seems not that type of player who could turn his head around easily by money. Case closed imo. Activating release clause not working either, if the player himself want to stay.

Told you guys
-
I like last season Atletico, and I think that the best team they have for years. Winning La Liga was a huge achievement. But I don't think they could repeat that again with Barca and Real Madrid domination and continuous spending. Also in CL. Copa del Rey might their only best chance for silverware in every season since now. Griezmann should have realized this, if he is clever enough, he wouldn't pass the chance we offered. Joining Chelsea much more promising for silverware, including CL. And more money of course.
-
The bad thing about signing player with a release clause, is that it will depend on what the player himself want. If he want to force the move, he just need to refuse any offered contract his club given. Basically the club are fully realized it when they sign that player with particular release clause, they couldn't do anything if any other club meet the sum anytime. In other words, they are already too late.
-
Fabregas might be better suit as no 10 when away or against big teams, because basically we're playing more like in 433 formation. But he cannot play all the match in that position, because we need him in pivot also. Oscar could still useful as no 10 at home, especially against mid and small teams. Also Jose could use him as a sub for Fabregas or any MC so that Fabregas could be back at pivot when away. In other words Jose still need Oscar. Oscar will be sold by the time he is no longer useful against every teams.

All this Thiago discussion reminds me of Nike
