It might be expected but you still have to make it happen as a player. And that penalty and the couple of chances he missed (he always still scored in the same game) were the only negative points in his performances as of now. He's literally scored in every match (correct me if I'm wrong) for them. What more can he do?

I actually think Lukaku is saving Mourinho's ass. He's the one type of player they needed to become title contenders again. He decided several games they would have eventually tied or lost last season. His speed gives them an extra weapon they didn't have with Zlatan and the way he attracts multiple defenders gives the rest of the team more space. His all-round game seems to be a-ok as well these days.
-
Dude, I didn't mean he scored the goals by himself, I just meant he has scored more goals this season than the entire Everton team combined - which is a fact. Also, coached by a two times CL winner who almost got Chelsea relegated. He's scoring goals despite Mourinho, not because of him.
-
Probably, but if I got booed I would most likely do the exact same thing. Half of the Everton fans were always against him and look where they are now without his goals. He scored more by himself than their entire team this season.
-
Well, they were booing him before the goal. Don't boo a giant angry striker before the game is finished.

Mhehehe ^^

If the woman you loved ditched your ass and started hanging out with some older guy, you'd stick around for years like a chump for her to change her mind? ;-)
-
Ha, fans of English clubs accusing players to sign somewhere for the money. That's funny. ;-)
-
Good for him. Now compare their pay checks and there status as a football player. Got him far, that love for the club...
-
Inzaghi, for one. ;-)

Muh, the Europa League is a cool trophy anyone would want to win as soon as they're playing that league. But looking at the opposition they faced, they always had to win this one. Not a single 'top' team crossed their path, not even Tottenham or Zenith or Roma or whatever...
-
Funny how he makes a cup that would have been a disgrace for him not to win looking at the opponents they faced in the later rounds into the greatest accomplishment of his career. He looks like a complete lunatic on the celebration pictures (especially since what happened in Manchester this week). He could have easily gone out against a mediocre Belgian team in the quarter finals given some bad luck.
-
Man, all of our Belgian teams have essentially weakened compared to last year, but we're getting some nice results... We've got the sixth most UEFA ranking points this year, right behind France and better than Portugal, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey - all of which have vastly more money than us. Or it's sheer luck, or we're still doing something right. It's not normal for Tottenham and Zenith to lose to Ghent and Anderlecht...
-
I would fucking carry him all the way there myself for that money. Ridiculous.
-
Christ, how can he be this bad? Look at the players he has. He even turned Zlatan from an absolute beast into a donkey in a matter of months. And a lot of people were blaming the Chelsea players last year.. Look at the difference now... He's never going to manage a top team after this. He might as well stay in Turkey, these clubs are the only ones dumb and rich enough to hire him in Europe. If not, it's China or UAE for The "Special" One. (yes, it's obligatory to put it between brackets now).
-
He just blamed LVG for the fact his players are afraid of playing attacking football. What a cunt. Didn't know Louis was also responsible for Chelsea's tactics last season.
-
Anderlecht once rejected both young Roberto Carlos and Ruud van Nistelrooy. How's that? ;-)
-
After this,he's never going to manage an absolute top side again if you ask me. Maybe one in a horrible crisis (like Utd actually), ok...
-
As I said last year, the guy is about to ruin another team. Not a single excuse this time. Except for the city match, he was facing ridiculously inferior squads and he still managed to lose. I think he went crazy the day Guardiola beat him 5-0 in his first Classico with Madrid.
-
Jesus Christ, this is just embarrassing. They should be able to beat Feyenoord with their worst possible team. It's not even a top team in Holland anymore and their league is now worse than our Belgian one (they're 14th in Europe...). They'd probably play better without a manager.
-
Just read that the top four leagues will have 4 guaranteed spots in the CL group stage as of 2018. Really EUFA? How is that fair. It's called the Champions League, not the Finished Fourth League. At least let them play the preliminary rounds like they do now. It's like they want European football to only have four leagues.

50 million for a CB that isn't even exceptional. The market is going crazy.
-
If you ever thought Hazard lets himself go in between seasons, take a look at Higuain. Wtf. Juve paid a record sum for him and he comes back from holidays looking like my dad.
-
Nope, they actually lost millions, because sadly the board is not on the level of the players. Still a bunch of complete amateurs. I'm actually surprised they were able to get someone with PL experience. I was thinking they'd take some B-belgian trainer. The other guys on the list were Rudi Garcia and Dick Advocaat. The last one was practically impossible to sell since he dumped the team after 6 months five years ago. What quality manager can you get with a 600.000 euro budget? Martinez is not too bad. At least he knows how to play decent attacking football. The problem was really that we were slow in the buildup, a defense of Vertonghen, Vermaelen, Kompany, Alderweireld is not problematic.
