I really don't know why do we 'keep an eye' on just one player,we focused on him as our midfield target so all others players,who would maybe be the cheaper soluce,are not considered. I said somewhere,I'm pretty sure we could go with Brozovic or maybe Kovacic who will surely exit Real Madrid this summer,there are plenty of other players we could sign.If you ask me,45 million is too much for this player.

It's wrong and risky to think that we can do it if Dortmund and Klopp did it in a German league where you have only one team who dominate last few years,others are pretty much shit if you compare them with BPL . Premier league is much more difficult. He gave the interview today for national newspaper that he could leave Inter this season,and in the end he said he would like to be new Frank Lampard. In some of his first career interviews,while he played at Dinamo,Croatian champion,he said his favorite club is Chelsea. Tbh I don't watch Serie A and I don't know how good(bad) he is,but I saw many of Italian magazines write about him as very good player,and very good potential because he is 23.He could have a important part in Croatian squad on this Euro so maybe he would be good backup plan if we can't sign Radja.

Generally you are right,a lot of people,especially on this forum identify player by the 'size of his name'. But I think it's not that problem with sigining Stephan,he is simply old,he played over 10 years in Serie A which is much weaker then BPM,plus he played for Juventus who had a full monopol over that league last few years.If you ask me,we can buy a player who is absolute stranger but is younger and more capable to adapt to our squad.
