Young Brazilian full-back Wallace is set to join a European club this season because there's no chance of him getting a work permit as he's yet to represent his country. Roma was rumoured to be his most likely destination although they may have filled that need when they added Maicon from Manchester City earlier this week. Wallace played 45 minutes in today's first game of pre season, a 1-0 victory over Singha All-Stars where he won the penalty. The 19-year-old, who joined from Fluminense for around £4m last December and spent the second half of last season on loan back at the Brazilian club. "He's a very good player," said José Mourinho. "I knew him before. He's very mature for his age, comfortable with the ball. He has the quality of a Brazilian full-back, likes to attack and create.
