  1. Cant believe someone else from Beccles is on here that's where i live.
  2. On 3 July 2015, Chelsea signed Falcao on a season-long loan deal with the option of a permanent transfer at the end of the season. The move reunited him with his Colombia team-mate Juan Cuadrado and former Atlético Madrid team-mates Diego Costa, Filipe Luís and Thibaut Courtois. Midfielder Mario Pašalić went to Monaco on loan in exchange for Falcao joining Chelsea. Falcao made his debut on 2 August in the 2015 FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium, replacing Loïc Rémy at half time as Chelsea lost 1–0 to rivals Arsenal. His league debut came six days later in a 2–2 home draw with Swansea City, playing the final six minutes in place of Willian. Click here to view the record
  3. Mohamed Salah has joined Roma on a season-long loan Chelsea have announced. The winger who left Basel to join the Blues in January last year, became the first Egyptian to turn out for the Stamford Bridge outfit but has found regular football hard to come by. The Rome club have an option to buy the 23-year-old at any time during the loan agreement. Last season he scored twice in 19 appearances for the blues but had more joy out on loan at Fiorentina in the second half of last season, scoring nine times in 26 games. 4. After selling Filipe Luis back to Atletico Madrid the blues have been in search of a new left-back. It looks like Ghana international Abdul Baba Rahman is set to be that man. Jose Mourinho has been tracking the defender for some time and it appears a deal has been agreed. Augsburg his current club appear to have signed his replacement already, that's 21-year-old left back Philipp Max from Schalke 04. Rahman is said to be keen to get the deal over the line so his agent Sascha Empacher says, personal terms are all set as the teams continue to negotiate. He told Sport Bild: "It is only the clubs that have to find an agreement. We on our side are agreed."There's also been stupid rumours going around that we're after Tottenham's Danny Rose for £15 million!? This of course has to an absolute joke. Hopefully the signing of Baba Rahman is sorted out soon Click here to view the article
  5. The goal for this month didn't get set up for some reason.
  6. The news that Chelsea have agreed terms with Monaco for Radamel Falcao to join the London club on a season-long loan deal next season, subject to extensive medical checks after the Copa America, has caused rumours to circulate regarding Loïc Rémy's future at the club. The imminent arrival of Falcao has raised concerns that the France international's playing time at Chelsea could be limited in the build up to next summer's Euro 2016. Opta-powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com took to the task of comparing the Colombian and the Frenchman from last season's Premier League on a per minute basis to see whether the doubts are justified, or whether Rémy can still play a prominent role at the club and in-turn make it into the French national squad next summer. Despite playing half the amount of minutes than Falcao in the Premier League last season, Rémy's stats were remarkably better. The Frenchman led for goals (7 to 4), minutes per goal (99 to 326), strike-rate (23% to 11%) and shot accuracy (59% to 55%).After 7 goals from just 6 league starts, including important winners against both Hull and Stoke, Rémy played a big part in helping Chelsea to their first league title for five years last season and the 28-year-old will be hoping to play an even bigger role next season. Crystal Palace and West Ham are rumoured to be closely monitoring the situation, however, should Rémy leave the most likely destination will be his hometown club Lyon. A move that would see Champions League football and plenty of game-time in the hope of catching the eye of his international manager Didier Deschamps. What is clear is that should Loïc Rémy remain at Stamford Bridge next season, Falcao's arrival will unlikely have any impact on his position at the club. It will in-fact be the Colombian that will be struggling for regular game-time. Click here to view the article
  7. There has been talk in recent weeks that Filipe Luis could be offloaded by Chelsea this summer after the Brazilian saw limited action in his debut season at Stamford Bridge. The left-back was one of five big money signings made by Jose Mourinho last season, with the 29-year-old costing £15.8 million from 2013-14 Spanish La Liga champions Atletico Madrid. While he wasn't the type of signing to make you go out and book home and away tickets for all Chelsea games for the season, he was expected to have a much bigger impact on the team and provide a dependable, quality option at the back. Filipe Luis made only nine starts in the league, although he did make a further six substitute appearances, as well as starting five of Chelsea's eight Champions League matches, starting one of their two FA Cup matches and five of their six on the way to glory in the League Cup. However, the Brazilian international didn't look like displacing Cesar Azpilicueta anytime soon for the starting full-back role. The Spanish international, four years his younger was one of the top left-backs in the country over the past season. Luis' appearances were often to give Azpilicueta a rest, or simply Mourinho rotating his squad in the cup. His win record in the league was only better than Ruben Loftus-Cheek (0 wins in 2 starts) as Luis was involved in only four wins in his nine Premier League matches as a starter. Chelsea don't have too many options at full-back, so if the Premier League champions are to let Filipe Luis leave over the summer, a player will have to join the club first. Toby Alderweireld has been linked over the weekend after a solid season on loan at Southampton. The Belgian spent most of the season on the south coast at centre-back before filling in at holding midfield towards the end. Currently owned by Atletico Madrid, he has some experience in both full-back roles. Ryan Bertrand left permanently in the January transfer window, going on to be named as the PFA Team of the Year left-back, alongside three Chelsea defenders. 20-year-old Cristian Cuevas spent the past season on loan at Universidad de Chile, whilst it would be big surprise to see highly-rated 17-year-old Jay Dasilva in the first-team squad next season. Filipe Luis will also have a busy June as he is at the Copa America representing Brazil – meaning any transfer may have to wait until July or August. In all likelihood, there is a good chance he will remain at Stamford Bridge for the 2015-16 season. Click here to view the article
  8. No got paid to post it, with no one hardly donating its how it is.
  9. It’s been one of the most exciting football seasons to date, starting off with Jose Mourinho’s 11 having to make up for England’s less than impressive performance during the 2014 World Cup. Suffice to say, at least where the Premier League was concerned, Chelsea have more than proven themselves after emerging with the trophy and an incredible 87 points. Now, with two months to go until the transfer window opens, the rumour mill is in full swing as to who could be making the move over to Stamford Bridge. One could argue, with such a sterling performance in the Premier League, that Mourinho does not need to go spending his money too frivolously. However, Chelsea’s performance this season has not been entirely flawless, with their FA Cup exit being particularly notable, and as such here are just a few candidates that Chelsea are said to have their eyes on. Antony Rudiger As the World Cup proved, German talent is in no short supply at the moment, and it’s of little wonder that Mourinho has got his eye on Antony Rudiger. The 22-year-old currently has a £7.1 million release clause and is contracted to Stuttgart until 2017, but recent reports in the Stuttgarter Zeitung claimed he would be leaving this summer – possibly heading for London? Gianluigi Donnarumma At just 16 years old, a move to such a world class team would certainly be an ambitious one for Gianluigi Donnarumma, but it seems his goalkeeping skills have not been overlooked by the Premier League winners. If Chelsea are serious about recruiting him however, they had better get in quick – rumour has it he has caught the eye of a number of European teams including A.C. Milan. Christian Benteke With an FA Cup final against Arsenal in the running, Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke certainly has a lot to think about at the moment, and that’s not forgetting the potential interest from Chelsea. However, while he could be tempted by Mourinho’s pocket, Villa manager Tim Sherwood is convinced he will stay true to Villa, claiming: “I have no reason to believe he wants to seek employment elsewhere.” Cristiano Ronaldo Mourinho’s quest for a super team could just be complete thanks to the likes of Diego Costa, Oscar, and now, if he gets his way, Cristiano Ronaldo. It seems money is no object for the Real Madrid star, but while Manchester United have already put up an incredible £100 million offer, can Chelsea top it? Watch this space. 10. If it wasn't for my dad supporting Chelsea this place wouldn't excist.
  11. One week and it's gone down the shitter....
  12. Have the Player of the Year awards already been sewn up? The stats suggest so. Gareth Bale was Tottenham's shining light in the 2012/13 campaign and his performances were rewarded handsomely. The Welshman picked up the PFA Young Player and Players' Player of the Year as well as also taking the FWA Footballer of the Year. This was quickly followed by a £78 million move to Real Madrid the same summer. Luis Suárez was the catalyst to Liverpool's title challenge in the 2013/14 season. The Uruguayan was the Premier League's stand out performer which was recognised when he collected the PFA Players' Player of the Year and the FWA Footballer of the Year. Barcelona were quick to pounce, taking him to the Nou Camp in a £65 million deal. This season Arsenal's Alexis Sánchez's started his Premier League debut campaign with a bang after his switch from Barcelona, however recently his form has taken a dip. Manchester City's Sergio Agüero has put in some big performances this term but an injury over the busy Christmas period has appeared to slow the striker down. While, although 21-year-old Spurs sensation Harry Kane has enjoyed an excellent breakthrough campaign, he didn't really get going until November. One man however has remained consistent throughout, Chelsea winger Eden Hazard. With Gareth Bale and Luis Suárez performing to such a high level that saw a host of individual honours and big money moves to La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, Opta-powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com took a look at how Hazard has compared against the pair during their seasons. Liverpool's Luis Suárez wins the goal scoring honours, and by quite some distance with 31 goals in his 33 games last term, compared to 21 from Bale in 2012/13 and 10 from Hazard so far this season. Suarez also leads for assists with a total of 12. Hazard's 6 assists have already surpassed Bale's tally of 4 two seasons ago. However, that's as far as Suárez gets in this contest and Bale doesn't even manage to get off of the ground. Seven other key areas were assessed and it is Eden Hazard that comes out on top in every single one. When it comes to passing the 24-year-old leaves the other two in the shade, completing an impressive 87% of his passes and making an average of 48.1 passes per match, over 20 more per game than the others. Hazard has also completed 2.57 key passes per game, again outperforming the other two players. Despite scoring fewer goals than Bale and Suárez, Hazard in-fact has the better shot accuracy of the trio with 59%. And even though he has fewer assists than Suárez, the Belgian has actually created more chances than both players, 2.79 per game. All three are well-known for their dribbling abilities but again it is Hazard that excels by a distance. The 24-year-old has completed over 20% more of his dribbles than both Bale and Suárez did during their respective seasons. 65% in total. He has also provoked more fouls from his opponents than both Bale and Suárez, a total of 2.93 per game. The stats clearly show that Hazard's all-round game is much more advanced than Bale's and Suárez's were in their award winning seasons. As soon as Hazard adds a few more goals to his locker the comparisons will likely move up a notch against the likes of Messi and Ronaldo, he really is that good. Click here to view the article
  13. Paris Saint-Germain need to score this evening to have any chance of making it through to the Champions League quarter-finals and they'll be turning to one man in particular for goals, striker Zlatan Ibrahimović. The 33-year-old missed last season's second-leg between the two sides at Stamford Bridge through injury. Paris failed to score, the game finished 2-0 and Chelsea went through narrowly on away goals. This time the Swede is fit and raring to go. Due to his obvious goal-scoring threat, Opta-powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com decided to pit Ibrahimović against Chelsea's very own hit-man, Diego Costa, to see how the two have both fared in this season's competition. With Chelsea the group stage top scorers, it is a surprise that the Chelsea striker is yet to find a Champions League goal this season. Ibrahimović on the other hand has netted twice in just three matches. In spite of this it is Costa that has the better shot accuracy, 63% to Ibrahimović's 50%. Neither player has provided an assist in this season's competition, however it is Ibrahimović that has created one chance more for team mates than Costa has. The PSG striker has also been superior for passing, a completion rate of 82% to Costa's 74%. Standing three inches taller than Costa, it is no surprise that Ibrahimović has won far more of his aerial battles this season, an impressive 75% compared to a disappointing 33.3% from Costa. With Chelsea captain John Terry having a 68.8% success rate aerially in Europe this season, his battle with Ibrahimović should be an interesting one. On the ball Diego Costa has outperformed Ibrahimović completing 42.1% of his dribbles to 25% from the Paris forward. This will explain why Costa has also drawn more fouls from his opponents, 8 overall compared to 5 from Ibrahimović. The signs are that if Paris wish to progress to the next stage the responsibility falls firmly at one mans feet. Click here to view the article
  14. John Terry is showing exactly why he deserves a contract extension at Chelsea, analysis from Opta-powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com has shown. The 34-year-old put in a man of the match performance on Sunday and helped Chelsea claim the club's fifth League Cup title after their victory over Tottenham at Wembley with his first ever cup final goal. The Chelsea captain is enjoying a terrific campaign but is yet to sign a contract extension to take him into next season despite Jose Mourinho's recent comments that Terry will stay at the club for a further year. Chelsea recently introduced a policy that players over the age of 30 would only be offered one-year extensions with Terry agreeing to such terms last summer. With his performances last season meriting a further year at the the club, Oulala decided they'd check out how he compares this season to last and the results were extraordinary.Of the 10 criteria studied Terry is excelling in every area within the Premier League. Defensively his stats have improved from 12 months ago drastically with a higher tackle success rate of 68% to last season's 47.3%, more blocks per game (0.77 to 0.59), a higher percentage of ground duels won (69.4% to 60.4%) and more success in the air with 70.8% of his aerial duels won to last term's 63.7%. Terry is also committing fewer fouls per game (0.27 to 0.41) and in turn is still yet to pick up a yellow card in the Premier League this season. The defender also has a narrowly superior pass completion rate of 90.5% to last season's 90.2%. As a player also known for his goalscoring abilities it is a further area where Terry has improved with a shot accuracy of 62% this season to his previous 36% and a strike-rate of 0.12 goals per game to 0.06 last term. He has even created more chances for his teammates (0.19 to 0.15). With such an outstanding level of improvement in all areas to his game it is expected that Chelsea will offer their captain a further year at the club sooner rather than later... 15. December's Champions League last 16 draw in Nyon, Switzerland saw Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea as the first two clubs drawn. Two months on and the teams meet again for the second successive season after last year's epic quarter-final battle in which Chelsea came out on top on away goals after a Demba Ba strike in the final minutes. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho had singled out Paris before the draw as his preferred opponent. The Chelsea boss had said that he had wanted his players motivated by facing a good team early on and also noted that the travel arrangements would benefit the fans if they drew the French club. With Chelsea out of the FA Cup they have benefited from a weeks rest since their win over Everton in the Premier League, however PSG enter the game on the back of a disappointing 2-2 draw with Caen after two very late goals from the away side. Paris are also licking their wounds after injuries to a host of key players that are now unlikely to feature against Chelsea including Yohan Cabaye, Marquinhos, Blaise Matuidi, Serge Aurier, Lucas Moura and Thiago Motta. Our friends at Opta powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com have returned to the group stages with their detailed analysis and it is Chelsea that comfortably came out on top. As the overall group stage top scorers of all 32 teams with 17 goals including a 0-5 away win in Schalke and a 6-0 victory at home to Maribor, the Blues scored more goals in two matches than the French outfit managed in all six of their games. Chelsea were also very solid in defence only conceding three goals in their six group matches. Only Real Madrid (2) and Monaco (1) conceded fewer. Paris however shipped seven goals, five of those came in their two matches against Spanish giants Barcelona. Paris held a slightly better pass completion rate of 2%, however, Chelsea dominated with a 4% swing in possession and narrowly edged total passes made. The Blues attacking and creativity did not stop at goals scored. They also led Paris for chances created, shots and shot accuracy. The two clubs approach the clash in very different ways. Chelsea hold the psychological advantage after their narrow victory last season while PSG sporting Director Olivier Letang has spoken of the club's hope to gain revenge on Chelsea after the London club knocked them out of last years competition. 16. On Tuesday night David Luiz will face his old club Chelsea for the first time since leaving London to join Paris Saint-Germain for £50 million last summer. It appeared Luiz was surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge when Jose Mourinho chose to cash in, opting for his preferred John Terry and Gary Cahill partnership. On the dawn of the last 16 clash between PSG and Chelsea, Opta powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com decided it was time they checked out how Luiz was performing in Ligue 1 since his switch and how his stats matched up to ex-teammate Gary Cahill, thus revealing whether Jose Mourinho did the right thing when he offloaded the Brazilian. With Cahill playing 5 more games and racking up 300 more minutes than Luiz this season, the comparison has been made via a per 90 minute basis with the 7 main defensive criteria being analysed. The first stat Oulala looked at was tackles won with Luiz leading the way comfortably with a swing of almost 10% in his favour, 52.7% to Cahill's 43.9%. For head-to-head battles again Luiz edges it. Luiz excels aerially with a success rate of 78.6% compared to 69.1% from Cahill. On the ground the PSG centre-back leads further with 65% of his duels won, while Cahill has only racked up a rate of 59.8%. Luiz also leads for interceptions with 2.3 per 90 minutes compared to 1.02 from his opposite number. However, Cahill does peg the Brazilian back for blocks and clearances. The Chelsea defender edges blocks narrowly, 0.79 to 0.66 per 90 minutes with 6.19 clearances to Luiz's 4.43. The passing stats for both players are impressive, however it is Luiz that leads again with an impressive 90% completion of all passes made, Cahill falls just short with 87%. So with David Luiz leading Gary Cahill for 5 of the 7 main defensive criteria this season is it possible that Jose Mourinho was wrong when he sold the Brazilian to Paris? Did he in-fact sell the wrong man? Click here to view the article
  17. Zero fouls conceded in 597 minutes of football, for a centre-back... a young centre-back... is a very rare achievement, but it is something that 20-year-old Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has accomplished. After racking up his sixth clean sheet in just nine appearances against Everton on Wednesday night, Opta powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com decided it was time that they took a closer look at the young Frenchman's performance statistics, specifically in the Premier League and Champions League this season. Zouma's 87.5% pass completion sits narrowly above the overall Chelsea average of 86%. The defender has completed a total of 297 passes in his 9 appearances, an average of 45.5 passes every 90 minutes. The Frenchman's tackle success of 50% again edges the team average of a surprisingly low 44.6%. At a height of 6ft 2 it is no shock that he is also well ahead of the overall team average of 56.3% for aerial duels won with an impressive 72.5%. His ground duel success is slighter lower, yet still superb, at a rate of 68.1%, again above the team average of 52.6%. In his Premier League and Champions League appearances this term the 20-year-old has made 3 blocks, 6 interceptions and 24 clearances. With comparisons already being made to legendary ex-Chelsea and France centre-back Marcel Desailly, from what we've seen so far of the young Zouma, the future appears very bright for Les Bleus.... 19. Chelsea vs Man City is the title clash everyone is looking forward to. There are some world-class players on both sides, but there are two little magicians that will likely decide the outcome of the game. Eden Hazard and David Silva have been in outstanding form this season - which one will make the difference? Opta-powered real-time fantasy football game Ultimate Fan Live have done a comparison of the 2 players in preparation for tomorrow’s game. We have looked at their last five games and their average attacking contribution. Eden Hazard is a quicker and more explosive player than Silva, which shows in Hazard averaging 5.6 great dribbles a game compared to Silva’s 2.0. For every one of these dribbles, Hazard earns 3 points on UFL, so he could score more than 15 points on fantastic dribbles alone. David Silva is more of a playmaker, which shows with his higher number of great passes and through balls. With great passes worth 5 points each and through balls worth 4 points, if Man City dominate possession at Stamford Bridge, then David Silva will rack up the points for UFL users! Both players will score even more points for fouls won. Eden Hazard and David Silva know how to turn defenders inside and out, which results in loads of fouls. Eden Hazard averages 3.8 fouls won per game compared to David Silva’s 1.4, giving UFL players even more incentive to pick the Chelsea man. Ultimate Fan Live is a real-time 90-min fantasy game. 20. Opta powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com have taken a detailed look at the biggest match of the season so far. In a Nutshell... This could be the first day of the title race... or possibly the last... Overview In September, Chelsea visited the Etihad at the top of the table and 5 points clear of their nearest challengers - Manchester City, the game ended 1-1. The leaders missed the chance to extend their advantage while City failed to make up much needed ground on their rivals. Four months on and the situation repeats itself. Chelsea are again 5 points ahead despite being caught by City over Christmas who then let the gap appear again. This time the West London club welcome City to Stamford Bridge. After having to endure extra-time in Tuesday night's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool, the Chelsea players will have the distinct disadvantage of a shorter rest period. However, Jose Mourinho has previously spoken of his love for a more demanding schedule, the facts are that the fatigue will surely take it's toll on his players in the latter stages of the game. Manchester City winger Jesús Navas feels that the clash is a must-win game for his side in the pursuit of retaining their Premier League title. He said "We need to go there with maximum attitude. It would be something very big to win the title two years in a row. But we need three points against Chelsea to close the gap". With both sides dumped out of the FA Cup last weekend, at home, and by lower league opposition, the game will tell us a lot about which side has the guile and strength in bouncing back fighting in the return of the Premier League after its two week break. An intriguing clash awaits us... Team News Branislav Ivanovic (foot), Felipe Luís (calf) and Cesc Fàbregas (hamstring) all picked up minor injuries against Liverpool on Tuesday night. Diego Costa face a three match suspension after being charged for violent conduct in the same game. Frank Lampard suffered a hip injury in Abu Dhabi but is expected to recover in time for his return to Stamford Bridge. Key Men Nemanja Matić: 'The Giant' is arguably his side's most important player. Chelsea have lost only once in 32 games this season when he has featured. His job on Saturday will be to offer his team-mates safety, security and reliability against the inevitable wave of City counter-attacks, especially in the second half. David Silva: Thierry Henry recently called him 'the best Manchester City player'. The Spanish magician's ability to both create and score goals makes him City's most indispensable player in the eyes of the ex-Arsenal striker. Silva is arguably the most likely player to unlock the resolute Chelsea defence. The Managers Mourinho v Pellegrini has been it's own little soap opera since the Portuguese replaced the Chilean at Real Madrid in 2010 with the pair exchanging little snipes towards each other ever since. The rivalry between the two will be as much about getting one up on the other in theier personal battle as it will be the three important points for their clubs. There's no love lost here. Stat Attack Chelsea have scored the most league goals from set pieces of any team (11)Man City have scored the most league goals from counter attacks (5)Man City have had the most shots per game in the Premier Leaque (17.4)Chelsea have had the most shots on target per game (6.2)Man City have enjoyed the most possession in the Premier League (60%)Man City have the best pass accuracy in the Premier League (85.2%)TalkChelsea Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Man City Click here to view the article
  21. According to German magazine Kicker Wolfsburg have agreed personal terms with Andre Schurrle and a transfer is imminent, The clubs are close to finalising his transfer fee, Kicker reported, with Wolfsburg offering 27 millions euros and Chelsea asking for about 30 million. Bild reported that Schurrle's deal, worth about 6 million per season, will tie him to the Bundesliga club until 2019. Schurrle has been linked with a return to the Bundesliga for a few weeks, with speculation building ever since Jose Mourinho said on Friday that chelsea could be persuaded to cash in on the World Cup winner if they received "a phenomenal offer." Schurrle has three goals in 14 Premier League apperances this season but has only started five times. His seen more action in cups and the Champions League, but with Chelsea almost certain to sign Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado in the next few days, Schurrle has become surplus to Chelsea's needs. 23. Chelsea against Liverpool has become one of the modern day rivalries and tonight they lock horns yet again at Stamford Bridge for the 171st time in all competitions following last weeks 1-1 draw in the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final. Opta powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com have taken a detailed look at the head-to-head history of the two clubs through the years. Ever since Luis Garcia's 'ghost goal' in the Champions League semi-final during Liverpool's victorious European campaign of 2005, it seems a certain aura presents itself whenever the two sides play. The first meeting between the two clubs takes us all the way back to 1907 in the old League Division One at Anfield. Chelsea had only formed two years prior but still managed to nab a 4-1 away victory. Since then it has been the Merseyside club that has dominated. Liverpool have won 74 of the 170 matches that the two sides have played, 36 have been draws, while Chelsea have won 60. Chelsea's record win came at Stamford Bridge on 28th August, 1937 in a League One game. The West London club came out on top 6-1. On 7th September, 1946, again in the old League One, Liverpool went one better winning the game 7-4 at Anfield. In the League Cup the two sides have met a total of six times. Liverpool have won 4, Chelsea have won once and the last was a draw, 1-1 last week. Chelsea's sole League Cup victory against Liverpool came on 27th February, 2005 - the final - and Mourinho's first trophy as Chelsea manager. At the time Brendan Rodger's was the Chelsea youth manager. Chelsea have won four League Cups with their last win coming in 2007. Liverpool have a total of eight, the most trophies by any single team with the most recent coming in 2012. With Jose Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers sharing the same birthday, 26th January, only yesterday, they'll be hoping to continue the birthday celebrations into a second day, but even more importantly they will also be looking to write the name of their team into the history books once again. 24. Forget the 5-a-side dream teams that Manchester United players have been selecting recently. Here are some stats from Opta powered fantasy football game www.oulala.com that prove Chelsea have the ultimate 5-a-side team! With such a formidable attacking line-up, goalkeeper Petr Cech would be redundant, watching on from a distance as his team mates bomb forward. The four Chelsea stars in front of him all feature in the top seven players overall in the Premier League that have directly contributed towards the most goals this season. Assists and goals combined. Winger Eden Hazard has scored 8 and assisted a further 4 this term. A total of 12 goals that the Belgian has either supplied or finished is enough to place him seventh in the overall goal contribution table. Attacking midfielder Oscar has played a part in 13 of Chelsea's goals this season. The Brazilian has scored 6 and assisted 7 more. He takes sixth spot. Midfield creative genius Cesc Fàbregas currently leads the whole of Europe in terms of assists with 15 to his name. With 2 goals as well, the ex-Arsenal and Barcelona player's total of 17 is good for fourth place overall. Striker Diego Costa sits top of the Premier League's scoring charts this season with 17 goals. Another 2 assists and a total of 19 goals that the hit-man has contributed towards puts him joint top overall. The remaining three Premier League stars that make up the top seven include Arsenal's Alexis Sánchez who shares top spot with Costa on 19. Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero is one shy of the top two after being instrumental in 18 of his teams goals this season putting him third. Charlie Austin of QPR has been enjoying a fantastic debut season in the top flight and has been involved in 16 of his teams goals, enough for fifth spot overall. Click here to view the article
