  1. Everton have reached an “agreement in principle” to sign winger Christian Atsu on a season-long loan, manager Roberto Martinez was reported as saying yesterday. “Everything has been agreed with Christian - it’s just a matter of finalising little details more with his work permit and personal situation,” Everton manager Martinez said in the Liverpool Echo. A deal for the 22-year-old Ghana international is still subject to a work permit being received and the completion of other necessary paperwork. If completed, the move would mean a second successive year on loan for Atsu, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Porto for £3.5m last summer, but then headed out to Vitesse Arnhem. 4. Summer signing Diego Costa scored a superb goal during The Blues’ pre-season charity match against Fenerbahce last night before being on the receiving end of a nasty two-footed challenge by Bruno Alves. With the score goalless in Istanbul the £32million-signing from Atletico Madrid who started the game as the lone striker picked up the ball with his back to goal and danced his way past three players before driving his low strike past the goalkeeper and into the net. Branislav Ivanovic rounded off the win with his goal minutes later to hand Chelsea a 2-0 victory against Fenerbahce. Click here to view the article

  7. Chelsea have today announced Oriol Romeu will spend a second season away from Stamford Bridge after he agrees to join Stuttgart on loan for next season. A statement on chelseafc.com read: 'Oriol Romeu has joined Stuttgart on a season-long loan. The midfielder, 22, who recently signed a three-year contract at Stamford Bridge, heads to the German top flight. Romeu last month put pen to paper on a new three-year deal, leading Chelsea fans to believe he would form part of Mourinho's plans for the coming campaign, possibly at the expense of John Obi Mikel. The Spaniard moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2011 from Barcelona, and has so far made 33 Chelsea appearances. He spent last season on loan at Valencia. Romeu has not played a competitive game for Chelsea since December 2012 although he did play 70 minutes in Chelsea's 5-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers earlier in pre-season. 9. They have a sponsor it's "Veho" they just decided to manufacture there own shirts. Chelsea used to do this back in the 80s.
  10. Southampton have in-house manufactured there own kit for next season so no official kit maker.
  11. Probably designed by the same company.
  12. Its the Monaco website pretty much the same as the Arsenal?
  13. Chelsea will welcome Spanish side Real Sociedad to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 12th August for the final game of pre-season. The blues have not hosted a pre-season friendly in nearly a decade, the last being a 1-1 draw against Celtic in 2006 when Jose Mourinho had his first spell at the club. Its good to see the club are keeping ticket prices fairly cheap for this game, just £15 for adults and £5 for juniors and seniors. Its a nice opportunity to see the blues in action before the Premier League season kicks off on Saturday the 16th against Burnley and check out the new signings. More ticket information can be found here. Click here to view the article
  14. After an impressive FIFA Confederations Cup campaign with Cameroon, Chelsea paid Real Madrid £6.9 million for him in July 2003, and he went on to have an excellent first season at Stamford Bridge. Although towards the end of his career at Chelsea, under José Mourinho, he was played less regularly and when he was played he was put in his unpreferred position of right-back. However, Geremi was held in high regard by Mourinho. During an interview, he said about Geremi, "in my team I love to have Geremi on the bench because he’s a low-profile player who is ready to help, ready to fight for the team, ready to do the job I want him to do. If I need him to play right-back, he can play right-back. If I need him to play right-winger, he can play right-winger. If I need him to pick up a man and mark him out of the game, he does it". In his final year at Chelsea, Geremi scored the winning goal in a home match against West Ham United, a free kick from range. This turned out to be his last goal in a Chelsea shirt. His final appearance for Chelsea came against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg, which went to penalties. Geremi came on as an extra-time substitute and went on to have his penalty saved by Pepe Reina, and Chelsea ultimately lost. During his time at Chelsea they won the Premier League in both 2004-05 and 2005-06, and Geremi was eligible for a winners' medal both seasons as he made 13 and 15 appearances respectively. After Chelsea Geremi signed for Newcastle on 6 July 2007 on a three-year deal, making him the fourth signing of the summer by Sam Allardyce. He was appointed club captain for the 200708 season by then manager Allardyce, but lost the armband after new manager Kevin Keegan awarded the captaincy to Michael Owen on 20 January 2008. 15. I'd say they target small websites like us in the hope we cant pay the fine, they then take us to court and totally fuck us up. There not going to go near a website like Tumblr because they know they don't stand a chance, its easier for them to get money from smaller sites. It even said on the letter if i don't pay the fine ill end up in court and wont win. They then gave me a link to a page of previous cases they'd won. Another thing that worries me is what's to stop this cunt joining the forum posting his own photos then sending me a letter, the laws shocking.
  16. The images posted on here had his copyright cut off.
  17. Nope the images were posted in a topic by a member a few years ago. I've been to citizens advice and had numerous people look over the letter. They've all come to the same conclusion which is pay it. The law is the law, if images are taken from other websites this can happen. At the end of the day I can't take the risk of not paying the fine, ending up in court with massive fees to pay that could ruin my life.
  18. The new Porto home shirt. They've changed to Warrior which is a shame, Nike always made them such nice kits.
