Rubber bullets 1,183
With the SNP (Scottish National Party) gaining a shock majority in the Local Scottish elections and taking complete control of Holyrood (Scottish parliament), it is almost certain that a referendum on independence for Scotland will come in the next 4 or 5 years. So would you be in favour of the United Kingdom breaking up and Scotland getting independence? If they are willing to take on their whole National debt, lose all of the funding that they get from English funds (they would potentially have to have a 60% tax rise on to cover the amount of public spending they get from English taxpayers) and don't complain if they don't get all of the income from the North sea oil. Then they can go bugger off, would finally put an end to the West Lothian question.
spuz 143
Yes you wee buggers, start paying for your prescriptions too. I can't see how they'd cope, they'd do an Ireland and be in the shit.

- 25 - 167
Independence?Eventually yes, but atm I don't think we're ready. Hence Alex Salmond waiting until the second half of his term to consider it.
