Billy Clifford and Aziz Deen Conteh

Seeing Kenny bring Flanagan and Robinson at RB and LB for the game at the Emirates yes-today im thinking we could do a lot worse than give these 2 some game time. I would have added Nathaniel to that list but as he is 16 i can't see him being considered for atleast a couple of years.

But IMHO these 2 guys are natural quality, Billy can play a RB and is like Gary Neville with a goal threat (and not a cunt) and he can also play in centre midfield and does excellently there aswell, while Aziz is a good attacking defender but his defending is so good it would be a waste IMO to send him on the wing.

If Liverpool can do it would it really hurt for us to do the same?

Liverpool have absolutely nothing to lose and not good players in the positions the youngsters have been played in. we have champions league to qualify for and very slim but still a chance of regaining our title.

Billy Clifford is out injured anyway..

We have a massive fear at this club of playing youngsters. We would rather have an older play playing out of position, which for me is a nonsence.

Aziz and Billy are real talents. Both have very bright futures, for Aziz though he has Patrick Van Aanholt and Ryan Bertrand ahead of him and even Ben Gordon. None of those can get a game and they have football league experience. Billy Clifford is a very good right back and a very good midfielder too. I hope he gets some chances soon. We have to have faith in our younger players, we give them no confidence at all at the moment. It is a shame.

I'd love to see us introduce Billy Clifford soon! I remember when we introduced Glen Johnson under Mourinho and everyone was very happy because we thought that would be a trending theme of the Roman-era. Unfortunately it hasn't been.. Despite solid performances (especially in our first trophy, Carling Cup) he was then sold. We've seen more.. Sinclair, Mancinne (probably), Sotch ect.

I actually really like Todd Kane, who's our youth right back! He's scored a lot of goals too, and is a good set piece taker. Esk, out of him and Billy, who's more likely to break through?

At the moment Billy Clifford. Billy is a year ahead of Todd Kane for a start, but also at the moment a better player. Billy is a really exciting prospect either at right back or in midfield. His performance in this years youth cup have been nothing short of supberb. Todd Kane is also a very good right back prospect who can play midfield or right wing, same as Billy, and obviously could have just as impressive season next year as Billy is having now, but we will see. It is nice to have these options because they are all top prospects. As things stand though i think Billy Clifford has more chance of breaking through.

What about Saville?

George has had an impressive season, particulary in the youth cup, for the youth team he has been moved around all over the park, but his midfield berth for the youth cup is obviously his best position. Tenacious in the tackle (some times a little too much) and skilled on the ball he has very good attributes to be a very good holding midfielder. The way he was moved around the park at youth level made me worry he would struggle to break through with no settled position, but this season he has really shown what he is all about. Next season will be an important one for him and i hope he can progress nicely.

we have shown that to date for sure..

hopefully that will change from next year on..i fear though that with the way the top italian clubs have for many years loaned out their promising players a stupid amount of times with loads of clubs before getting a decent run with their parent club..maybe if we stay under Carlo that will be what he continues to do. i really hope not though..
