It's because they have FLAIR, they don't need to ONLY pass to get past people, they have half the team capable of dribbling past 2-3 and then passing, creating loads of space. Where as we have 3 blue players around 1 red and we still lose out, leaving Rooney unmarked to slot home. That's the difference. And we can't blame CA here because we don't know how fit Benayoun is. On paper he would have been great but we don't know what's going on. 0-1 is not the end of the world and I'd rather see us going down fighting than moaning about a penalty. Fuck that

Well they certainly had the better chances of the game, in the first half.

Our chances, the very few, were actually very well done. Credit to Van Der Sar for keeping our Torres I guess. But you're right! We run around like headless chickens with even a ball from the keeper to the target man! That's unacceptable! It's why Mikel as a holding is crucial to our team, it maintains the line of balance between defence-midfield-attack.
