Gattuso ban.

I don't really care was said to him. Footballers are looked up to by millions of children around the globe. Seeing a grown man react like that to something that has been said to him, as well as actions of thuggery and petulance is utterly shameful and casts exactly the wrong sort of impression on kids around the world. Its totally unacceptable; if I was to react like that to a tutor, for instance, I'd have criminal charges against me and be kicked out of sixth form. Gattuso gets away with a four-game ban and a minimal fine, what a joke. Its about time the has-been was put down, he's nothing but an animal.

Those same kids were watching Joe Jordan swearing his ass off and provoking him. Do you condone that?

I'm not saying Gattuso was right, he's far off it. But the fact is Jordan is as guilty as Gattuso for not setting an example to kids. If I swore at my tutor and called him a "f*cking b*stard" I'd be expelled for sure.

If you nutted someone at work you'd be out on your ear in an instant no doubt,no final written warnings or owt like that.

I've seen 2 people sacked in the past for squaring off with no actual contact.

Footballers should never be looked at as role models as they live in a completely different world, same as any celebs.

Gattuso is the Italian Robbie Savage, tough tackling wind up merchant, you either love these kind of players or you hate them.

I LOVE them, I love passion and fight in football, too many pansies these days.

They were both wrong, Gattuso was being violent, and a pain during the match. But there's no evidence Joe Jordan said to Gattuso, so it's only right that he's not on a ban, because you think if he never said that, and Gattuso was just a soar loser, you got to think of other views before you make judgements and decisions. However if there's anything that i disagree on, on the matter, it will be that i think Gattuso's ban is a to short, comparing it to other verbal bans.

Thankfully that won't be this season.

And we'd just have Essien chasing him

In regards to Joe Jordan, there's no evidence of him saying anything whatsoever, at least not along those lines. Granted it is impossible to know what he said, but either way, Gattuso was looking for a fight for the entire match. There's a difference between fight and passion, and general thuggery.
