Just been thinking how much of a bearing do tactics actually have?

I have lost games in the past despite getting my tactics spot on and won despite getting them wrong.

Im not actually convinced they have as big a bearing as we think, i think team rating's and especially teamwork values have more of a bearing on results.

8 times out of 10 tactics will decide the result, so many factors to take into account though.

The seeding in the cup is shocking tbh, I won it last time, yet I'm up against one of the strongest sides in the Championship for the first round. Yet people who were knocked out early last time, thus lower seeds, have managed to get easy ties against inactive mangers.

It's more than just tactics sometimes. My defence + goalie is pretty much brand new and have poor teamwork ratings, so unfortunately I'll have to go through this season with a very weak defence.

I got knocked out in the first round, I think. If it's based on that then 8th is too high lol.Either way 8th doesnt make sense to me.
