If you play down the wings, and the opposing manager (of any skill) tightens the wings, it's game over. Even if you defend against their formation correctly.

Opening day of the season jubilation!

Randalls Ramblers supporters were going home with smiles on their faces after a comfortable 3-0 away victory against FC Kronenberg.

The game started in a competitive nature seeing 4 bookings in the first 11 minutes with both teams eager to show their desire to the fans. The breakthrough finally came in the 31st minute with a cracking long range shot from Ikponwosa Akinkawon.

By half time the game was over with two more goals from Randalls Ramblers really putting the game beyond any reasonable doubt.

Eventhough the final posession was in favour of FC Kronenberg the chances and goal mouth action was all from Randalls Ramblers having seven chances as opposed to FC Kronenberg's one.

A good start for Randalls Ramblers and their fans will be hoping it is an early sign of things to come.

Newly Promoted Steve's XI have come into this new league in extrordinary fashion with a shock win over last season's runners up X-Rated. Two impressive goals from the captain Higginson got Steve's XI the 3 points!

Steve had these words to say -

"My lads went into this game with confidence and did exactly what i told them to do. I went into this game with a lot of research thinking X-Rated would go back to there trusty 4-4-2 after playing 4-5-1 in their latest friendly. Everything came together perfectly and I am happy with my lads and there impressive start to the new campaign. Hopefully this win can bring Terminator X down off his high horse."

"We are not getting ahead of ourselves just yet as there is still a lot of games to play and plenty of worthy opposition. Lets hope this is the start of great thing to come for this club."

In a game X-Rated should have won comfortably, a simplistic tactic won the game in Steves XI's favour. Terminator X however claims the status his club has reached, and his recent press conferences has made him and his team a target. During the game Steve XI assaulted X-Rated's star striker Luiz Duarte, who will recover in time for the next game.

Terminator X: "The hilarious thing from my point of view is that UpTheChels will defeat Steves XI on Tuesday, Yet Steve put effort in today's match preparations. If I was a conspiracy theorist I would claim he was doing Clevemayer a favour."
