I was going through this site transfermarkt.co.uk today and came upon this list of Premier League footballers whose contracts are up in the forthcoming summer. Our very own Jose Bosingwa and Branislav Ivanovic lead the list in terms of players with the highest current market values who'll be out of contract in the summer. Some pretty good footballers there including Steven Pienaar, Owen Hargreaves, Robert Green, Matthew Upson, Steven Taylor and Thomas Sorensen.

Also, leading continental players like M Diarra, Ronaldinho, Andrea Pirlo, Philippe Mexes to name a few will be able to negotiate with foreign clubs come January. Given Carlo's connection to the Serie A, I think there's a good chance we could be in for a couple of guys like Pirlo and Mexes.
