kwylino 329
No fucking way i want to see this fanny back in english footballI hated him when he was a man united He was just good for running on the wing doing stepovers and selling shirtsI would take giggs loyal service anyday over him
eldo 868
Well, forgetting about his personality traits, and the fact he's a decent footballer, he's an ex-Man U player, and that should matter lol. Just as much as if someone on a Man U forum had said, Just wondering, would you want 'us' to sign Drogba? And they'd all be like, "fook nooo, he's a cheatin' coont and played for fuckin chelsay..." (Trying to capture a Manc accent with that)Excuse my rant (apart from my outrage about swapping him for Anelka and Drogba), i wasnt trying to cause an arguement, i just really dont like him as a footballer, and i wouldnt want us to pay that much money for any player, regardless of my personal feelings toward him lol. I'd rather see someone like Kakuta in our team than someone like Ronaldo I also wouldn't like him because he was a former Man Utd player. Ok Anelka was playing for Arsenal and Liverpool, but i hate Man Utd more than those two.

What counts is their committment when they arrive . I have been delighted with Nik while he has been with us
BomTrett 50
Ok Anelka was playing for Arsenal and Liverpool, but i hate Man Utd more than those two.I guess Anelka has the case that Arsenal ended up getting rid of him and that Liverpool didnt decide to buy him after they had him on loan. And even without saying that, he didnt really give us a reason to hate him at either or those clubs (maybe add Man City as well into there haha)Ronaldo is a different situation altogether haha

I have been delighted with Nik while he has been with usFair point, but i guess we just appreciated the quality of Mark Hughes into our team at that time, and Wilkins, as you said, saved us because of the transfer fee he generated. You're right in saying that the commitment counts, and if we had signed Torres for instance, i dont think people would have minded despite the whole liverpool thing. But then you think of someone like Gerrard, and some Chelsea fans would be like, not that liverpool scum, even if he is a good player. Same goes for Ronaldo, his reputation precedes him, and we all know what he's like AS a player. Theres a thin line between players who have too much of a link to one of our rival clubs, and players who play for them but we'd accept them anyway. BlueLion. 21,491
And how do you know this? His attitude, maybe? His consistent berating of match officials and whining on the pitch? Plus the fact he cheated on Cheryl Cole... oh, hang on, surely the papers must have made that one up as well, surely she just left him for another reason? The papers told him so....Ahh right, thought as much!Find it disgusting how people can make such flippant remarks about people who they have never met. Unless you can honestly swear that you've never made such a comment about anyone in your lifetime, I don't think you have a moral leg to stand on.
