I agree with most parts but I honestly think we have a super valorization of foreign stuff. Brazilians (specially the ones that did not travel) think everything abroad is fucking perfect...

In Brazil many revolutions were led by elite. There were some popular ones, but the ones that really mattered were mostly going on for the rich. The rest of latin america is different.
