6 day dance off thing? I am not sure which festival you are referring to because there are too many here() and you might be referring to some particular cultural thing.

Diwali is one universal festival celebrated across the whole country with people lighting up their houses with candles and divas, now a days some fancy LEDs as well. It's usually a 2 day celebration ending with bursting of crackers(which i don't really advocate when it gets too loud and smoky but it's traditional).

Just applied for University...$100. If I don't get into my course, I'll just die.

That sucks. I did three applications last year and had to pay over $200. One of them I didn't even complete because I got admitted to the one I wanted to go before I sent them all the documents. And the application fees I had to pay were low compared to what I would have had to pay to apply to universities in eastern Canada. They have this system there that makes you do your application twice and make two separate payments, each around $100. Absolutely criminal.

Anyway, good choice. I hope you get in.
