True, but I think that feminist movements, at least in this part of the world, seem to be targeting every aspect except sexuality. I even think some feminists don't believe in their right to have sexual desires. Such is the strength of social norms, to defy even such simple logic especially in the parts of the world where the Islamic religion has a big influence.

Feminism is in what is called the fourth wave where sex positive feminism reigns supreme. These feminist explore sexuality in dynamic ways like attitudes on porn and personal sex views. So research work is being done probably not so much in heavily religious countries which will have different constraints

True. I do think feminism is outright hostile to biological explanations of certain phenomena, however. For example, guarding female sexuality is a universal cross cultural thing. This has led some researchers to think that - since cultures differ no matter what - this is a zero hypotheses (meaning if the behaviour is present everywhere - although you vary the cultural components). The result is parental investment theory (biology - see Trivers) that is providing a compelling view on the how and what of female mate guarding and restricting sexuality. Also, because there is a main biological component possibly causing the behaviour does NOT mean it is ethically tolerable. To assme such a thing would be to commit a logical error called the naturalistic fallacy.

Believe me - I had some really vicious feminists chasing me after talks on this .... Some even furiously deny biology plays a role at all in culture and behaviour - this fallacy is called the moralistic fallacy (thinking the world IS organised the way you think it should be). I had a female, feminist coworker who wrote a book 'Darwin for ladies' and she almost got crucified for it in the gender sudies community...

Edit: eg Cordelia Fine ....

Ow well.... Back to baffoonery :-)

Hey, do people in your countries kiss (real kiss) in public?

Like, if I go to a bar or whatever and hit on a girl. Will she give me a toungue kiss right away (if she likes me of course) and there will be no problem? Or only sluts do it?

Also, do people go making out with each other in clubs, etc. Or it only happens after a couple of dates?

EDIT: I think it is enough curiosity for now! :)

Got to do a full accounting report on a made up company in any field. The market needs to exist but the company has to be made up. But can't think of anything, and doing something really simple, like a grocery store probably won't look that good... Any suggestions?

@Stingray, And mate, before you ask, NO it cannot be a dildo company. :D

Why dont you do a video game studios company? Could be interesting...

You could also do an online selling company (Amazon like), also a cool stuff!
