Just do that, go in and say you don't know my information off the top of your head but I can get it if they need it. They should just match it but yeah I would just update the ram and SSD youself. I've never built or taken apart a laptop only desktops, I imagine it's the same principle.It's pretty straight forward with the pro's you just got to undo a few screws underneath and it's a standard 2'5" hard drive in place. Only thing is you will need to transfer across the operating system. So if you can't be bothers fucking around with it maybe just order it online with the ssd pre installed and just do the ram yourself. Do not buy the ram upgrade online because quite frankly they're taking the piss with those prices. The ssd they provice are still quite good. I may have some spare ram sitting around at work that I might be able to send up to you for free. I'll check out work and let you know.
