Spike 12,049
I want to try it now...It's really salty, slightly bitter and malty. Go for New Zealand Marmite if you want something sweeter.

Marmite was selling for hundreds of dollars online! What people do when they have a craving.Btw, where's Konohasorangeflash?

Spike 12,049
Here is my dilmma. I'm an IT student so I do a lot scripting and whatnot and software development/engineering is probably my aim as a tecnhical field. I have a high end desktop PC at my home and it is more than powerful enough to play most video games on max settings, etc. However, I can't lugg that thing around with me at the University, so I need to buy a laptop. I am wondering what is better for my needs? Mac or Windows? I am very interested in buying a Mac because it looks much easier to do basic scripting and word documents on. What should I aim for?http://store.apple.com/au/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook_pro?afid=p219|GOAU&cid=AOS-AU-KWG-PLA

Never heard of it - but ive seen what it does to improve speed. Wow. Also, it replaces your hdd. Its a lot .... But! I have mine for more then three year now and it STILL kicks ass. Never, ever failed. And I used it intensively, daily! Still boots from scratch to online around 30 secs now and shuts down in a blink. When in sleep, you simply open the fucker and three seconds later you are online. Amazing. Also, battery still lats me more then five hours (use to be more hen seven) after these years. If you have the cash ..... I would do it.
Rmpr 8,977
Macs are great, they really are. However, they are highly overpriced, way too much!Apple doesnt use SSD, it is a flash based drive. It is the same concept, but a different thing overall. It is like McDonalds and BurgerKing (loool, super shit comparison). Also, they are super shit for games, only a very few games work on Mac OS X.Jake, I would go with a Maingear instead....

The website says Solid State Drive, haha.OOOH, you will keep your desktop? So go for a Mac, definetly!Rumours that the new Macbook Air will be released in a couple of months. Apple products usually launch at the same prices as their predecessor, so no worry about the cost. Since you will basically only use "Gedit" to program (I am guessing), it will be enough. However, if you want to go crazy, Mac Pro Reitna Display is fucking awesome (my buddy has it and it is absolutely amazing). You will overpay because Apple = Expensive, but they are indeed good.Yeah, they can say it is, but it isnt. Pratically they are the same, but they arent. EDIT: I checked, Stingray is right!
