In a film LIKE THIS I want escapism. Somewhere to goto for couple of hours.Action. But would be interesting to throw a switch in the end you didn't expect.

I need some more proper detectives that you just dont know whats happening or whos dunnit. Not been many really good films for awhile. Suppose its down to the pandy tho.

In 2008 adidas launched the A-ZX series for the first time and caused great excitement among all ZX fans with 26 unique drops. Now, around twelve years later, the Drei Stripes are celebrating the four-digit ZX models again. And for the 2020 A-ZX series, adidas Originals is also releasing a ZX sneaker for each letter in the alphabet, which was designed together with a collaboration partner. We were particularly impressed by the letter "L", because this is where the world's largest toy manufacturer comes in: LEGO. For us it is a dream come true, because our two greatest collecting passions, trainers and LEGO, are combined!

It will be colorful, playful and typically LEGO.

The new adidas x LEGO ZX 8000 naturally comes with the colors red, yellow, blue and green as well as block graphics that are reminiscent of classic LEGO bricks. There are six different laces to choose from. Add the knobs on the heel cage and the various LEGO bricks as lacelogs and the sneaker homage to the world's most popular toy is ready. A detail that particularly stands out: a small LEGO brick was printed on the right insole. Because who does not know the stabbing pain when stepping on a forgotten stone in the children's room.

With this sentence we recently announced a project that has not yet existed in this form in Germany and on which we have been working with heart and soul for months: Two supposedly competing sneaker stores are now doing the "L" drop of the A- ZX series common cause!


Together with Overkill we went on a road trip to Billund, Denmark, to the LEGO headquarters, the "Home of the Brick". There where the success story of the so-called plastic terminal blocks began. There everything was under the sign of the new ZX 8000, which we were allowed to depict in its natural habitat between thousands of LEGO bricks. But that was not all! For the release, Overkill and we have prepared a few goodies for you: It



was clear to us that if there was already a real sneaker from adidas and LEGO, then there had to be a twin brother made of real LEGO bricks. That is why we have produced a limited number of these on a 1: 1 scale. This so-called fan MOC will be given free of charge at both stores at random (in-store and online) to purchase the adidas x LEGO ZX 8000. But that's not it: Our two LEGO nerds Marc and Mischa have also immortalized themselves as mini figures. Overkill and we will also distribute the mini-duo to our customers free of charge and at random.



And we go one step further:


We, Overkill and a media partner will each be raffling off one of three gold-plated LEGO minifigures via the respective social channels. So keep your eyes open and check out our channels!
