Unionjack 7,531
Had a load of old stories told me last night about the old London United days. All the London firms uniting for when the clubs from oop t'north came down town. Apparently it was mainly us and them lot from north London but the other lot was represented. It was disbanded because they couldn't agree for a leader and what really put the kaibosh on it was the Spuds lot singing Tottenham at some game and they all turned on them hahahaI know its them north London lot but a great song and interesting by one of their old lads

I've only been to amusement parks in Australia. Well, I've been to Disney Florida.Personally, my day was a little more relaxed. Watched the cubbies, cooked, had a few beers. Oh, and I got two bloody fillings in my teeth. iseah100

nyikolajevics 2,700
The debate on the players names and the new topic names are ridiculous.. Let's write some emails to chelseafc.com to rename the profiles http://www.chelseafc.com/teams/first-team.htmlSome people need to spend more time outside. KevinAshburner 1,270
Hi @Stingray I want to know because you are born in Belgium when did you start learning English and how long did it take you to be comfortable speaking English fluently and how widely spoken is English in Belgium and is or are all the signs in stores names on the buildings are in Belgian or with English also so that like the Visitors and Tourists. so that it helps non speaking Belgians to feel comfortable and more likely go to Belgium again because they use English more widely.I don't know much about any Country other than South Africa and New Zealand and because I have never traveled any country in the world except traveling in RSA and NZL Where I was born and live. so I would like to know more about other than just doing online research because talking directly to people is more enjoyable than researching it online.also any other members on here you read this you can also add your views on your countries as well if you want to.I have Lived over 10 years in New Zealand since Tuesday 21 June 2005 at 11:45 am NZST when I landed in Auckland Airport. I have forgotten everything about South Africa since I have immigrated because I was 14 years old at the time so I don't really remember much about what South Africa has become since I left. iseah100 and Stingray

I think it just came automatically. However, I think pretty much here speaks English at a decent level. Tourist signs are indeed often in English for tourists, but they include the three national languages as well (Dutch, French and Germen). We all get those languages in school (well, English, French and Dutch anyway; German is optional). What we do do is create really large amounts of signs. Since we have been overrun by the Germans twice, we do this as a deterrent strategy. It will confuse them and drive them back home. In total we have 1.622.623 signs on a population of 10.000.000To illustrate: Sign that says deviation in two languages: More confusion: or this one - ultimate confusion! The second strategy we use to deter the germans is build really ugly houses. for reference check: http://uglybelgianhouses.goodsie.com/ugly-belgianhouses-bookTo illustrate: But our third strategy is most genius. We use music and a lot of our singers are even named Kevin. Germans cannot tand our music, but we love it after we drank all our beers. For example: this is called 'common and do it - and yes it is about sex. All the hot chicks even sing about Kevin all the time: Greetings from Belgium! You should come and visit us sometimes! You would make a great singer! Unionjack

Along with a nice Chelsea smile. iseah100
