Alee. 182
FUCK SAKE. Stupid extremist clerics making us look bad all the time. Theres nothing as immature as that in Islam, its these illiterate idiotic people who represent as little as 3-4 Percent muslims that have extremist ideas. Really feels me with anger seeing how its because of them moderate muslims (Majority of muslims) have to suffer. If i was a man united fan (god forbid) i would wear the Man United shirt, no one gives a shit if theres a devil on it.Crazy religion, crazy people.Bit offending and immature that, i wouldn't call the religion, and the people who follow it CRAZY, just because a few extremists who are in a downright minority, are mentally retarded. The UK population has to put up with nutjobs like Abu Hamza and Anjem Chaudhary (sp?) who keep getting free rein to spout their anti-semitic, homophobic hatred. And the so-called "anti-fascists" NEVER protest against them, because while Nick Griffin must be stopped, Islamic hate preachers are, for some reason, seemingly protected under race laws. BlueLion. 21,491
Let's try not to post anything offensive please people! I agree with Alee, there are some Muslim extremists (actually, you can say the same of any religion) who just go overboard.

Alee. 182
a perfect world, is a world without religion. What then would bring in any morality, law, restraints, limits etc? wouldn't that just make the world selfish, greedy, pointless and put it in a state of chaos.Yes, its already full of alot of bad things, but as religion might seem like the reason for those, religion is also the reason so many people live good lives.People would then feel that Doing Good is pointless

Did that many people really have to die just so the murderers could satisfy their "god"? If that is doing good, then it's a pretty fucked up world we live in. You can think what you want, but in my eyes, and many others, believing in fairy tales and being superstitious has had plenty more negative effects in history than positive. Religion is open to interpretation, people therefore interpret it in different ways. Yes you do have such extremists who take their faith to a level which causes harm to others but the majority of religious people are nowhere near like that. Religion can be a way for people to find inner peace and meaning, some people need this in their lives to give them purpose. To say it has more negative effects in history than positive is very cruel. History highlights all the negative aspect of life anyway. We know religion can make people do bad things, from history, but we've also seen good aspect. Example, Gandhi said his inner peace came from religion. Martin Luther King also found his positive approach through religion.

A utopia built on a foundation of lies (the belief of god) is still a utopia of lies. Believing in falsehoods especially at a time like today (where there is plenty of scientific evidence that refutes the existence of any god) does absolutely nothing for mankind. Believing in falsehoods especially at a time like today (where there is plenty of scientific evidence that refutes the existence of any god) does absolutely nothing for mankind. The problem is that every religion was "injected" into people so long ago that even now it has roots in every young believer. People are not ready and they are too affraid to reject a thought that all this life is just meaningless. I mean something like we won't be heading to heaven nor hell after our death. Life is just about living right now in this moment not thinking or trying about having great after-life. Religion scares people in some ways saying all the stuff about how bad hell is or how easily we can get there. Than everyone start to think about it and they are worried and they just want to be happy at the end of his life. I also can't understand how anyone can say that religion makes people better. Do we really need some fairy-tales to be good and nice to people? Are we really some animals without purpose to live so we need something to hang on to? However, if people have this belief and it makes them a better person should we really question this?
Randall 315
Ignorance breeds ignorance. They moan about not being allowed their headresses and then something like this comes out. Religion will be the death of us all.
