Neither have I, and he is from my country :D

This reminds me of the Ivanovic transfer. No-one had ever heard of him for a year after his signing, then he comes from nowhere with the 2 vs Liverpool

Hopefully Kalas will do the same one day :whistling:

In today's papers in the Czech Republic an interview with Tomáš Kalas was released. Here just a few highlights:

He is already and definitely in London, no loan in Olomouc any more. The club has sent him to one English family where he now lives. The family is used to it, as the club had already sent some new youngsters to them. Kalas also mentioned he 'worked' as an au-pair when he looked after the family's young girl :D He teaches her how to kick the ball :D Kalas is spending some time with Jan Šebek, our young goalkeeper, which is understandable. He trains with the reserve team but sometimes, well quite often, the reserve coach sends him to train with the first team, which is a BIG lesson for him.

Kalas also spoke about two first team players - José Bosingwa is full of jokes, it is a great fun with him. On the contrary, Paulo Ferreira is a huge proffesional. He regularly visits us youngsters and talks to us.'

Yesterday there was an interview with Kalas who made some interesting and mostly positive points.

Kalas on John Terry: 'John treats me superbly, as if I was his partner in the defence. We have a brilliant relationship.'

Kalas on Didier Drogba: 'He's just like John. He never stops telling me experiences from his career so I could take an example.'

Kalas on Paulo Ferreire and Petr Cech: 'Paulo is nice with all the people around and offers his help to everybody. Of course, there is Petr but I don't have to talk about him. He is something like my brother.'

Kalas on the dressing room: 'I can talk even to the biggest stars in the club anytime I want - during breakfast, lunch or training, anytime. I am ni touch with them every single day. To share with them the same building and the same dressing room, that's a huge experience.'

Kalas on AVB and Ancelotti: 'Surely, AVB will try to use our youth more than Mr. Ancelotti. Under Mr. Ancelotti it was difficult for every young player.'

Kalas on the competition in the defence: 'When I see all the names, I can be fifth or sixth central defender. But that's how it goes being a young player.'

Oh, you tease!

Still nice to see that the old players treat even the latest imports with respect, remember the video that John helped DiSanto with his tie.
