Stoch is currently in the middle of a season-long loan deal with Dutch side FC Twente, but is still contracted to the Blues until the summer of 2011.Chelsea are keeping tabs on the Slovakian international's progress and his representative Milan Lednicky claims they would like him to agree an extension.Stoch, 20, is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future and Lednicky is relaxed about the whole situation."It should be a long-term contract," he said on the player's official website."However, it is of no importance to reveal more at the moment. The situation will be clearer some time during the spring."FlatteredStoch admits it is nice to know that Chelsea would be ready to offer him a new deal, although he would have a lot to think about before putting pen to paper."It flatters me that Chelsea stay interested in my services," he said. "Which player would not be flattered? Chelsea are a top club. "We will surely discuss the offer with my agent and will consider this option. My priority is to play regularly." Blueboy 14
Let's hope he can match the level of the PL. Eredivisie is something different than the PL. But on the other hand, RVP did it at Arsenal, so, why not?
Badboy 1,526
You know what i really did not think stoch would make it at Chelsea. I thought he relied on pace too much but i underestimated him, i still dont think his technical ability is up their with borini and kakuta but i think its just good enough. I think his pace and ability to turn can really damage teams in the premier league in the last 25 mins of games. He is a last 25 min player though, i think he will have to add different components to his game to become a 90 min player. Richard dunne has defended against malouda for 75 mins then he see's stoch come on someone who can probably run 100 metres in less then 11 seconds. One through ball from a ballack or lampard or kakuta and stoch is away !
