Sorry but I find this incredibly stupid. I have seen it posted by a few Chelsea fans around the internet today. Wolves were playing good stuff and WE NEED TO WIN so we leave on the good, proven experience to see us through. The only time I'd trust to throw a kid on for someone to rest them is 90+ minutes and that would be useless. We are trying to win the league here not give everyone some game time. The Kakuta love is so annoying, he is hyped because of the transfer ban. Stoch has done more in a blue jersey IMO. Sturridge/Borini would have left us light up top. Matic has barely played and while talented throwing him in to a game like today unless necessary is needless. If we conceded late then the pressure is on us. You see these games out not get cocky and play youth.

emo3.gif Good post ,Ive been trying to convince people to trust Carlo ..he sees the youngsters

more than we do ...incidently Esk hasnt been impressed with gaels performances in the reserves ..

I do like the looks of Matic

Bruma wasn't sold IMO...he seemed uncomfortable at RB. I thought Ivanovic would had played at CB instead...

Bruma did a decent job at right back, just come back from injury as well. But yes i agree, would have been better in my opinion to play Ivanovic at right back at Bruma at centre back where he would have been more comfortable and confident, although i can also see why Ancelotti played him at right back......

No i have not been impressed with Kakuta's performances in the reserves but i also feel that he would and does perform much better in the first team, the pace of the game is more suited to his style, thats just the way it goes sometimes, i would like to see Gael apply himself more in the reserves but i wouldn't let that hold him back from the first team as he is a real real talented player.

This is a question which is going to keep coming up and up again and again until we see a group playing regualry for the first team. However when you look at this season we have made massive steps in the right direction, Borini, Kakuta, Bruma, Matic, Hutchinson all had good involvement with the first team which is something we have not seen for a very long while at Chelsea - Sturridge also you can include in that. I think looking toward next season you will see that group get even more involvement than they did this season which is the right way to do it, we don't need to or want to rush them in to relying on them too heavily.

For me Matic is the one who i think we will see get the most involvement next season along with Sturridge. Matic has gown into a really classy player this season, for those who have seen even the highlights of the reserve games will not what i mean, especially against Arsenal when the reigns were taken off and he was played box to box.

You can include in that little group probably Jack Cork, Patrick Van Aanholt, Ryan Bertrand, Miroslav Stoch who will look to come back from loan and in the summer show they are worthy of first team oppertunities. The jury is out on Franco Di Santo unfortunately and it looks like the end for Scott Sinclair at Chelsea too.

For me the bottom line is progress is being made 100% and lets not rush things and let these lads grow into first team roles which they are starting to do nicely. We ARE producing some exceptional youngsters, that is a fact and every year we are going to have more and more wanting to get their chances. Be patient.

I still would like Scott Sinclair to be given another chance, when i have seen him play for Wigan he hasn't been bad. He has scored twice, not bad for a winger who has hardly played for them, have to agree about Di Santo.

About the Wolves game yesterday; i think we could have put on Sturridge or Borini. Anelka and Joe Cole again didn't really convince or played a big part in the game, again (although Joey had a couple of bright moments with his flicks and a nice pass to Anelka). I really don't see if Anelka plays like that, why sturridge or Borini shouldn't get a chance.

Great post!! I really agree with it...I just wanted to ask you what do you think about Michael Mancienne will he has his try again in blue shirt??

And to answer on same older posts maybe Carlo realised that he has mistaken when he had all those old player in Milan or he didn't have quality youngstars there?? I think the time has come for Chelsea to make great young player and CA can do that with players you all have written before!....We all must remember that he made Kaka to be like this today and Alexandre Pato too...

JC10 was really disappointing. He made a few good through passes, but its only a few. I think I will prefer him as a Right Winger than a AMC.

None of our players did an really outstanding job on that position. I think Joe Cole would be better of playing as a right winger than as a ACM, but his problem in general stays his lack of form at the moment. The form of players like Joe Cole is mostly based on their confidence. Once their flicks + little passes work out, they are beginning to play better and better. Let's hope Joe goes through such a development in the last months of the season!

Gr8 post Esk.. Totally agree with you.. Tbh, the ones I see really getting involved next season are Sturidge, Matic, Bruma and Stoch (provided his loan is not extended for another season).. Kakuta & Borini are still raw and need more experience before coming on to the 1st team..

Stoch has been very impressive.. Someone who can ideally replace our gud old Joey..

And yea.. Sinclair would most definitely be moved on this summer.. Sad..

agree ..sadly he doesnt seem to have progressed .much like walcott tho deluded gooners would never

see that .. hope stoch returns next season...but Matic is the one Im really impressed with ..makes

me think of a young ballack and that really would be something special

note ,,we have 4 in the lastest under 21 squad more than any other clubblue%20scalf.gif

The English under 21 squad? If Matic would develop into a new Ballack, i certainly wouldn't complain. Especialy because i find him already more promising than the level of Ballack!
