JOHN TERRY STATEMENT

John Terry has today moved to distance himself from reports in the media. His statement reads:

'I was surprised and disappointed to see that some of the newspaper reports of my interview I gave to Chelsea TV have been taken completely out of context.

'The suggestion that mine or my team-mates' influence is the only reason for the club's success in recent years could not be further from the truth, and if you refer to my actual quotes, you will see that I said nobody will ever be bigger than this club, players or managers.

'I have always had the utmost respect for each of my managers, and am grateful for what each of them has done both for me personally and for Chelsea Football Club.'

He shouldn't have to make these statements!! How many of the papers that printed the twisted version will print this statement? My guess would be none, so as far as most people are concerned Terry still made those comments.....

Yep, the papers are out to destroy him. FFS hes englands captain the last thing these people should be trying to do is to get him down on himself before the world cup. But than again hes bigger than that and nothing will stop him.

It won't bother JT too much i am sure. But it is funny how whenever we are top of the league and doing well the stories come out of the woodwork to try and sestabalise us.

Unfortunately the only players in the England squad that the papers care of is Gerrard and Rooney, hype them up like some sort of 2 man squad who will fight everyone by themselves. They could'nt give a shit about any other England player on the squad (Lampard, Defoe ect.). Probably still angry because Capello did not chose G or R as captain.

Yeah i remember when i was over there, and we stuffed croatia and lamps scored two goals but so did gerrard. On the back of every paper besides 1 gerrard was on it, the other did have frank. Stupid fuckers.
