the wes 7,212
Sam Hutchinson has earned his first England Under 21 call-up, and is one of five Chelsea men in Stuart Pearce's squad. The defender, 20, made his first Blues start in the Carling Cup last week, helping keep a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Queens Park Rangers, and with his injury problems behind him can look forward to international football. He is joined in the squad by Daniel Sturridge, who has been struggling with a calf problem in recent weeks, and three youngsters out on loan.Michael Mancienne is with Wolves, while Ryan Bertrand is at Reading and Jack Cork Coventry. Also worth noting is Paulo Ferreira's recall into the Portugal squad, having also started the game against QPR last week. The full-back had been out since last season witha ruptured cruciate ligament, but is now vying for a regular return tofirst team duties.Meanwhile at the Under 20 World Cup in Egypt, defender Nana Ofori-Twumasi played the entire game as England werebeaten 4-0 by a strong Ghana side, while midfielder Michael Woods wasone of several players ruled out by illness.Goalkeeper Jan Sebek was once again an unused sub as Czech Republic drew 0-0 with Brazil, guaranteeing a place in the last 16.A full round-up of Chelsea international involvement will appear onChelseafc.comWell Done M8

EskWeston 696
5 players in the England U21's squad and 3 of them have been with us since a young age. Any of these media hacks who continue to write s**t about our academy can go f**k themselves because this shows the progress we are making here at Chelsea with our academy
warnie_666 1,081
I see him or Cork as the captain of the team in future. He has been compared to JT as he is vocal at the back and always on his game. He is a fantastic player, could have been the MoM against QPR.
