He is a great cricketer. World Class. However you clearly know nothing if you think he is better than Clarke. I'm an Australian fan so I would know better than you. Clarke is the best Batsman on Earth and Stats back that up.

I really wanted to have a civil discussion but u just don't know how to have one, do you? so you are an Australian fan means you ll know everythin about aussies. and u got stats to back up the statement "that Clarke is the best bastman in the world". so people like sachin, ponting, lara, haq, gavaskar, bradman, sobers, what are they??? u have the nerve all calling Clarke the best batsman (ok given, my favourite is yuvi I consider him to be the best), but then u have the nerve of telling me that that u know better than me just because u r an aussie fan and then that "stats" back it up. for your kind information I represented india on the under 16 level, went to tournament in sri lanka and new Zealand. so don't bullshit me by sayin "I'm an Australian fan so I would know better than you"... if u like Clarke and if YOU think he is the best then that's your choice, nothing against it, but don't say arbit and stupid things...

I think this is a Language thing. Clearly you do not have as good a grasp of the English language as others because the Statement 'This player is the best on Earth' automatically implies we are talking about the current time period. Not your fault though...I guess.

Ponting is finished Unfortunately. However he is definitely one of the best Batsman of all time. Top 4-5 without a doubt. We need to drop him and get Watson in at no. 3. Watson isn't even playing in the team yet so it can be assumed we will get even better. We could have a great batting lineup and team in general in time for the Ashes. I hope our form continues until then.
