SCG It's like a childhood dream

The SCG isn't that great. The view is pretty poor unless you manage to get yourself on the front few rows. If you can't get a ticket for the bottom most tier then you may as well not go.

At least that was the case when I last visited the SCG, which was about 4-5 years ago. I was a lot shorter then, I might be able to view proceedings properly from the upper tiers now

Christian Vieri was a very good cricketer in his youth, names his hero as Alan Border and has often said he would trade all his footballing achievements for just one test match playing for Australia

Vieri? The Italian striker? I dont see how an Italian was a good cricketer

Edit: I just read his family had moved to Australia and he had developed love for cricket and still follows it.

KP and Warne indeed are Chelsea Fans. Alec Stewart and Thorpe are I beleive season ticket holders.

yeah Stewart was out in Munich for the cup final. can`t remember if Thorpe was tho..i didn`t see them personally, tho i was behind the goal and they were possibly in the more "refined" seating area.

Aren't KP and Warne Chelsea fans as well? Surprised about Steyn, United are very big in South Africa.

United and Liverpool are the two most supported clubs here in SA. Most of us are a bunch of Glory hunters. Generally if the guy supports Man United then he will support the Blue Bulls in rugby too. Bunch of :wank2:

Dhoni knows batting is not going to be an issue for India on this pitch. He really wants to send Taylor back and the attacking fields show that. There are some easy boundaries for him in the process but he's banking on inducing the centurion into a rash shot.
