One cricketer that is rather underated is Jason Gillespie. he could bowl with the best of them and his batting was rather good too. He would occasionaly get a good amount of runs but that wasn't his strength as he could defend all day, which isn't very appealing but certainly wins games.

Well now. Thisara produces an good spell of bowling in a test match. Very surprising, I had him down as a quality ODI/T20 player but a poor test match player.

He's batting sensibly as well, giving Prasanna Jayawardene plenty of strike. Good to see Paranavitana do well, but yet again Chandimal has disappointed.

From a Pakistani perspective, Junaid Khan appears to have a massive future in the game. Great find for them. The new ball is due for Pakistan next over, I think Khan will rip through our lower order as they're fairly inept, Thisara and Kulasekara aside. Fernando is a bunny and Herath is hit and miss.

Thisara and Kulasekara are too hot to handle for Pakistan at this time. 7/302, partnership worth 66 from just 75 balls. Thisara in particular is on fire, 50 from just 60 balls.

I'm raving about Junaid Khan, I think he could be the next Wasim Akram. He's had an immense series, for a paceman to take 5 wickets in an innings at the SSC of all places is exceptional.

Also, Dilhara Fernando has just taken his 99th Test wicket for Sri Lanka. Go on and get the 100th!
