Term-X 7,891
i watched a reserve team game against spurs were he scored 3 goals, and from our pre-season games alone you can see hes a natural goalscorer, he just needs games and most importantly patience....haven't seen much of sturridge tbh. Steve 10,227
I think both the lads have a very bright future. At the moment but i think Sturridge is a little more devoloped in his play in comparison to Di santo. But that being said i do not think he is that far behind. I think if he does go on this load deal to blackburn, playing against other PL teams he can improve alot and hopfully start most games. BlueLion. 21,491
Sturridge has more PL experience, which is why we signed him - he is a young, aspiring, talented footballer who has already played at the top level in England, to reasonable success for somebody his age. Franco di Santo has a lot of raw talent, but if I was to pick a partner for Anelka during the Cup of Nations, it would be Sturridge and Shevchenko over di Santo, at this moment at least. I really think we need to send Franco on loan until January to see what he can do.
