Awww from the offical site:

Chelsea Football Club has released the following statement:

Guus Hiddink has done a fantastic job as temporary first team coach.

Everybody at Chelsea FC would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him luck for the future.

Winning the FA Cup was a fitting tribute to his management and coaching skills, and a perfect send-off for him. We are very grateful to him for what he achieved during his short time at the club.

He will always be welcome back at Chelsea as a friend, and in any other football capacity.

We wish him all the best for his future endeavours.

John Terry and Frank Lampard both showed their appreciation for Hiddink and all his fantastic work after yesterday's FA Cup triumph.

Speaking at Wembley with another FA Cup title to their names, our captain and vice-captain expressed their thanks to our Dutch temporary coach for all he has done at Chelsea.

'We love him,' said Lampard, 'everyone appreciates what he has done both inside and outside of the club and the fans have taken to Guus very quickly.

'The way he works behind the scenes obviously works, but the way he has conducted himself has been taken on board by the fans and the press and public, that's why people respect him so much.'

After such a short but successful tenure at the club, yesterday's win was the perfect way to say goodbye to Hiddink, and there were touching scenes after the final whistle as the players expressed their gratitude.

'It was very emotional; he has had a very good bond with the players, which has gone both ways,' explained Lampard.

'We are resigned to the fact that he is leaving and we wish him well, but it was a great way to go out. He is a great man and we're sad to see him go.'

Terry added: 'We have had a great time under Guus and they are big shoes to fill whoever comes in now, there is no doubt about that.

'How he has handled himself in training and how he has represented the football club have been great.

'He never lets something get too far. If he sees something happen in training he makes a decision there and then and he tells you. Little things like that make a massive difference.

'But it's definitely not goodbye to Guus, it's the start of something new. He has seen things that need to be changed at the football club and he will continue to help change those things in the future.'
