By the way, here's an idea while we're at it. If it's height he's worried about, then why not drop Fabregas and put in RLC, who is even taller than Ivanovic. Then you have the same number of giants without Brana while also being able to field a proper defensive line and improved midfield. Problem solved, crisis averted.

There's also Costa and/or Remy. The former's height is 188cm while the latter is 185cm. Hardly short players.
