Luiz Felipe Scolari has revealed to Setanta Sports that John Terry could face a few weeks on the sidelines after damaging his foot in the 3-0 victory over West Brom.

Terry limped off with five minutes remaining to be replaced by Paulo Ferreira, after Jose Bosingwa and Nicolas Anelka (2) had secured three points for Chelsea.

Scolari confirmed afterwards that Terry has a foot problem that will need a scan on Sunday.

The Brazilian did hint that Terry may have the same problem as Ashley Cole, who has missed Chelsea’s last four games.

That is worrying news for The Blues, who face Arsenal at the end of the month.

“It may be the same injury as Ashley Cole and Juliano Belletti, it’s a problem in his foot,” Scolari told Setanta Sports.

“Tomorrow the doctor will do a scan and after we will see what’s happened. I cannot say more.”
