Jannik Sinner was born 16 August 2001 to Hanspeter and Siglinde Sinner in Innichen in the region of South Tyrol in northern Italy.

He grew up in the town of Sexten, the family hometown, where his father and mother work as a chef and a waitress at a ski lodge. He has a brother named Marc. Sinner began both skiing and playing tennis at age three.

He was one of Italy's top junior skiers from eight to twelve years old, winning a national championship in giant slalom at age eight and earning a national runner-up at the age of twelve.

While training in skiing Sinner gave up tennis for a year at the age of seven before his father pushed him to return to the sport.[13] When he resumed playing, he began working with Heribert Mayr as his first regular coach. Nonetheless, tennis was still only his third priority behind skiing and football.

Announcers were talking nonstop about Novak, which is understandable.

I started playing tennis very young with trainer and all that, but eventually got tired of all that repetition. Just to say that I don't believe in the overused stat "unforced errors." All errors in Tennis are forced: the quality of the strokes by your opponent directly affect your own.

Sinner was hitting very low balls which gave Novak less time to act. It evidently threw him off. Excellent strategy and execution by Sinner and his coach. Sinner also matched Novak in serving quality, which is no small feat on its own.

Tennis in general. Never saw importance in nationality in individual sport like tennis. I like all Federer, Nadal, Sinner, Alcaraz because of great tennis to watch. Dont like defensive players like Novak, Medvedev, Murray.

Great match between Alcaraz and Sinner. Carlos on Sunday can have Slams on all 3 surfaces. Just turned 21. Nadal did this when he was 23, Federer 27 (almost 28) and Djokovic 29.

Alcaraz wins Wimbledon. Djoko the last of the 'old guard' couldnt keep up with him

Alcaraz might end up being the most accoladed player in 10 years from now if he remains largely injury free, he looks like the most complete player ever.

He's a hybrid of big 3. Such a joy to watch. Always smiling and playing attractive. Last person to give me this vibes was Ronaldinho 20 years ago.

Novak Djokovic completes career Golden Slam after beating Carlos Alcarez to win gold 🐐 |

Djokovic is among exclusive company with Steffi Graff (1988), Andre Agassi (1999), Rafael Nadal (2010) and Serena Williams (2012) to achieve the career golden slam. The honor is earned when a player wins all four Grand Slams and an Olympic gold in singles.

Sinner tested positive twice and covered, you can imagine how many times the Serbian got covered by the ATP.

First of all, Sinner was punished. How is he covered? I believe his explanation about spray for the knee. That was in March. He just won tournament yesterday so it's clearly that good. About Novak, look I'm not the fan. Federer and now Alcaraz are my all time favorites but suggesting Djokovic did something is silly. He has organization against ATP was always enemy number one. Logically speaking they couldn't wait to punish him if something happened. Plus he is so against putting anything suspicious in his body he is probably last person to ever think about that. Didn't took vaccine, doesn't eat meat, alcohol, chocolate...

None knew about the issue with Sinner until now and wasn't even banned provisionally until proven innocent, they clearly tried to shove it under the carpet and got leaked now. As for Djokovic doesn't matter how much he is disliked, he is bringing money to the ATP, they would definitely cover for him because they make money off him, exposing him would be stupid.

Djokovic running for hours and hours without ever tiring at 38 years old is definitely not normal, that said probably many of the top players are using enhanced substances, in general doping in tennis is a joke of the highest order.

Federer was probably one of the few innocent guys on tour, I remember him playing 5 sets against Nadal and Del Potro in his prime and would look dead on his feet in the 5th set, while the likes of Djokovic would run endlessly.
