I love TV/movies that are deep/trippy/make you think about whats occurring. Ian McShane as Mr Wednesday - Odin is perfect for the part. Really liked him since the early days of Lovejoy. Always plays a loveable rogue. Cant wait for season 2. I heard also good things about Altered Carbon. I want to read the books first. The author is British, Richard Morgan and its genre is Science fiction/Noir/Mystery. So I have high expectations.

Not watched it in over 20 years but seen it a few times. A very futuristic and forward thinking TV show from '67. Its far better than the modern remake. Basically an ex MI6 operative thats had enough and resigned. 'SOMEONE' supposedly his bosses, wonder why hes resigned. Wonder if anythings behind it. So they drug him and take him away to 'The Village'where they keep other agents who they try to extract information out of in various ways. They strip everyones personality and give them all numbers but he fights back trying to keep his individuality and escape to find out who is behind it all. He buts heads with the head of the Village - Number 2 - each episode and when he defeats them they send in another Number 2. Its very pop art and not like the modern shows, a more simple kind dont have to think too deep and no real continuing storyline. 17 hour long episodes available in one download at your local friendly torrent site! Well worth a watch https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061287/ An old Prisoner Sig I made of Rover. The plastic ball security guard! Unionjack 7,531
Anyone watching Project Blu Book? https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0318821/?ref_=tt_cl_i1 Obviously about the USAF Has Aidan Gillen as one of the main investigators. Been in a lot of good progs. Good actor.Things like Queer as Folk https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0262985/?ref_=vi_md_ti Identity https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1468779/?ref_=tt_rec_tt And Dice https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0292782/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_62 The Wire https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0306414/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_51 Blitz https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1297919/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_40 Love / Hate https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1625724/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_30 But what peeps will most likely know him in (And what Ive not seen 1 episode of) are Game of Thornes https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944947/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_12 and a few eps of Peaky Blinders (which I also just grabbed lol) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2442560/?ref_=vi_md_ti I would def recommend all the above and have just DL'd ALL 7 series of G O T to watch at sometime as its always been talked about and brilliant write ups. As for this new one Project Blue Book he is like the investigator in the investigator dept. Hes the one who wants to find the truth. Its only the 1st Ep but you know theres some other agency or SOMEONE watching him, like the smoking man in the X-Files and some chick has mad 'friends' with his Mrs looks like shes some sort of honeypot for her... Looks promising.

The amount of detail... I strongly recommend this to everyone. The best show I have seen recently. Other than that, I am desperately waiting for the new seasons of Peaky Blinders and Dark. Dark is a German TV series and it is something that will not allow you to switch off your brain for one single second. Hats off, those who have written this. These are my top 3. Nothing comes close. I had heard so many say how much they like it but I never knew what it was about. But just grabbed the 4 series so will have to give it a looksee. But Ive DL'd 70GB of TV seriees this last half hour so will have to put them into some sort of priority. THINK maybe Game of Thrones 1st. Unionjack 7,531
Been checking up on American Gods and got quite into the backgrounds of these characters so Ive been looking a little into Norse Gods etc and it occurs to me that Shadow Moon could be Mr Wednesdays son! And Mother was Frigg - Friday. There was a reference in one episode where he said he never knew his father and Wednesday gave him one of those sideways looks. Odin had a son Baldr - Baldur.. He had premonitions and preconitive powers like Odin and Shadow dreams the future. He also seems invulnerable as he lived after being hung. Baldr also has enhanced charisma and everyone who meets him loves him. Baldr is also fearlessness and able to manipulate light - his dead Mrs Laura (wonder what Goddess she is?) sees the light shine off of him. He also represents the cycles of the seasons and he smelled snow then later made it snow!! OR could be be Heimdallr?? Odin chose him as his bodyguard and was supposedly the connection between Gods and mankind!! That would make a lot of sense as Odin would need him in the war with the New Gods. It would also explain all the dreams he has of that tree and mountain of skulls. Is it the Yggdrasil free as thats supposedly the link between heaven and earth! Anyone thats read the book shine any light on it - @11Drogba??

Says even less for his best mate. Really looking forward to the new seeries. I've been looking for an audio book of it - just dont have the patience any more to read a book but would love to listen to it. EDIT ::: OMG!! Unionjack 7,531
Just watched the first episode of Roswell.New.Mexico. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7588054/ Pretty sure you can tell exactly whats going to happen all the way thru it. One that you can turn your mind off for a hour or so to watch. Also the 1st 2 seasons of Top Boy. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1830379/ Bout a couple of lads that grow up on a East London estate at the bottom of the drugs ladder and how they get to the top. Pretty much what you can imagine what it would be like but makes a change seeing a English version of so many similar US series. Season 3 is out sometime early this year apparently.
