Rmpr 8,977
Unbeaten since April. Look at their current record:Position games played W D L GF GA Points2 Atlético 9 8 1 0 22 9 25 Also checkout Diego Simeone's record.Mate, they are currently making history with their most unbeaten streak ever. Do you honestly belive they can keep their form for 29 more games? Really?Last 3 years the winner had 100, 96 and 99 respectivelly. Can ATM almost double their performance from last year (56)?Even with Falcao in Super Beast Mode, they are in 2nd. It is not about the present, it is the future...Also, Atletico is in a gigantic financial crysis and on FFP final warnning. We all know FFP was created to promote big clubs and to polarize UEFA`s marketing profit, while simulating a benefit for football clubs. Falcao needs to be sold, they will certainly do whatever they can, but Falcao will be sold for the buy-out clause (probably) - so there is nothing they can do.There is also the fact Roman is influent and could offer a help/break for ATM on finacial fair play. I also believe Radamel wants to play in UCL, imagine his amazing opportunity to be the senior striker for a contender to Back-to-Back Champions of Europe!??!!?!That is why I think you are naive... The Skipper 20,609
Lol, the way some people portray Falcao as some sort of super hero. Of course Atletico won't win the La Liga.

I still believe that Simeone has gives AM the US against the World Mentality. Also, I disagree w/ your statement that AM are like spudz. AM are a much bigger Club than what you believe. They might be the 2nd team in Madrid, but that is no laughing matter. And if CFC won the UCL, then AM can win La Liga.

It was not me who mentioned spurs.1st, I did not say anything about Atletico being a small club, they are a small profit for UEFA though.2nd, what is up with EA Sports?3rd, a Cup and a League are extreme different, you need to be the best or the most consistent to win a League, you can get away with certain things in a Cup (luck, park the bus, etc).4th, mentality isnt enough to top Barcelona and Real. If you indeed follow ATM, you should have realised that they are winning with some dificulty. Barcelona has a shit defence but still scores 4-5 goals and Real Madrid are getting back on track. Carry on!!!I really dont care who wins La Liga. I just think you are naive thinking AM will be able to hold on to Falcao with big clubs come with big money...The only way they can keep him is by his own will. AM has a lot more going for them than #1FCK ever had & I really rate Simeone as a gaffer. He gets the most out of his sides & they have done some pretty remarkable things w/ him at the helm. robdog 2,084
LET US WAITI have been rapping w/ Justin about this on MaxXed Footie Forums. He had a pretty good idea w/ CFC going after Llorente, especially w/ his current situation @ Athletic Bilbao. This seems to be a more realistic option. BlueLyon 9,359
Atletico wont win the league. Simply. They are great team, I guess they would get far in CL if they were in this year, but they wont beat RM and Barca in laliga. Personaly, I just want Falcao or Cavani in Chelsea by january. I cant watch Torres anymore, sorry.
Bacika 188
Nik @TouchlineDrama Chelsea fans, perk up your ears. Here's Radamel Falcao talking on Punto Pelota—"I cannot confirm that I will play for Atlético next season"
Hamilton 2,120
What about those rumoures in Marca that worlds richest man mexican Carlos Slim want to invest in Atletico?
BlueLyon 9,359
What about those rumoures in Marca that worlds richest man mexican Carlos Slim want to invest in Atletico? If thats so, Falcao will stay at Atletico, they will pay their loss and also get bunch of world class players. Madrid will have two power houses, Spanish laliga will be more interesting and we will buy Cavani instead. I dont see any problem there. But to actualy buy a club, there is whole protocol about this, you cant buy it tomorrow, afterall IF Slim wants to buy club, he hadnt picked one yet and its not necesarry he will chose Atletico, yet its most possible option. I prefer to keep Atleti like it is. They run club well, but if Slim buys it, well, money makes the world go around...

BlueLyon 9,359
Falcao was very lucky now, hopefuly he is able to play on...Soldado stepped on his head by accidence.
BlueLyon 9,359
Well, he wasnt impressive tonight, had few chances, didnt create any and only one or two shots. Atletico played very bad in first half, tried hard in second, but Valencia was superb in attack and defence, they won 2:0. Superb goal from Soldado and I must say I realy enyojed watching Feghouli. Falcao showed that he is very strong player, not easy to get off the ball and his jumping is fantastic. He run whole game, tried hard, but it just wasnt his day. Was fouled many times, but get up realy quickly, full respect to him for his attitude. So Atletico played similar to us, lot of possesion, attacking, but there was no support, no final pass to Falcao and he didnt create much on his own. Perhaps Im bit dissapointed with lack of his dribbling, would expect more from him realy. But you can clearly see he is enjoying play football, and his ball control is great. I said that he is not good at passing, however, tonight he was great at passing and showed he can be team player. A goal from him would be nice, but the game overall was very exciting and Valencia deserved victory.Tino Costa, Filipe Luis, Diego Godin, Joao Perreira, Adriano and Arda had good game aswell. I was happy to see Ever Banega to come in game in second half, he was always one of my favourite players at Valencia and I hope he fully recovered from injury. Wouldnt be bad to see him at Chelsea someday. Certainly he must stay at Valencia now to gain fitness and gets regular football. Maybe in summer, we could get him.
