When it doesnt look like we're signing a new AM, i hope Mourinho is thinking about playing Falcao and Costa together, to have another option for certain games.

Because lets say Costa is injury free this season, and Falcao is somehow playing well and scoring goals, what will happen? Falcao will be important only if they can play together.

We will never ever play 2 strikers from the start unless we were chasing a CL miracle (down 3-0 from the 1st leg) or we go on a 10 games winless run and he is forced to change the team. He has been using 1 striker formation all his career, he is not gonna change it and in the past there have been far better strikers competing with each other like Benzema and Higuain and they never played together.

If Falcao scores a lot and Costa also score then that is good for us, might even make us consider signing Falcao permanently next summer but as long as Costa is here and get on well with Mourinho he will start automatically.
