Radamel Falcao

It would be hard for me to visualise a player like Falcao drop to third choice at any club after just one poor season at United, particularly when at Porto/Atletico, he was considered one of the most lethal strikers on the planet at that time.

I say no, purely due to the fact that Costa, will no doubt be first choice, Remy second, and people like Bamford and Solanke will never get playing time!

Only thing that would change my mind, is that if he became available on a free, otherwise, stay well clear Jose!

You guys are just talking crap.. yes he was bad at United, but remember he barely played (little bit more than Cuadrado in this half of season) and LVG's system didnt fit him well. Why wouldnt we get him? If he is determined and wants to play here I think he will regain that killer instinct he had at Atleti. I would gladly take him, even play him and Cuadrado regularly if they tick in. Also remember he is only 29 y'o and he was a WORLD CLASS striker wanted by everyone few years ago untill he f*cked up his knee.. I think he needs time to recover and I believe he will be great under Mourinho.

We don't really have great history with expensive former world class strikers with the issue probably being with the word "former"

yeah I forgot to add the posibility he is going to flop like Torres (same knee injury after being world-class) but I still think Mourinho will reinvent him

If we are talking of 200k per week Falcao at Chelsea then we are not talking.

But if we are talking of 80-100k per week striker who just a few seasons ago was one of the best number nines, then why the hell not? Besides Benteke I really don't see other available strikers to replace Drogba. He would also be a good company to Cuadrado.

And don't give the youth talk here, Solanke, Brown and Bamford aren't ready for Chelsea yet and Falcao on loan here would actually help them since it's a loan not a transfer. Better to see them on loan and return next season then to see them SIT on the bench through the upcoming season.

An ageing player coming back from major knee injury with an abysmal season at Man Utd. Why the fuk would we want him here with his huge wages? I see Torres v2.0 all over this! Dont get me wrong when he was at his peak he was arguably the deadliest finisher in the game but it would be a fatal error to sign him at present.

I'd rather we have Costa, Remy and a young rough diamond as a 3rd option..

He probably wants another chance at the top level. For his condition the best thing is to go to some place like AC Milan and play all the time, but if the reports are true he probably wants CL football (never had it), and he believe he can go back to his best.

We wouldnt buy him obviously, if we even want him it will be on a basis of a loan. I dont think we need to buy a 3rd striker but a loan of Falcao on lower wages? i wouldnt say no to that. Its Falcao.

You're right, never noticed he played with Porto in 09/10... before his real big break a season later. He was even playing against us in the group stage.

No, he left Porto after they qualified. Did the same at Atletico, Monaco and now United. He's never played in UCL
